Daisy's P.O.V
I looked around my room. The room I grew up with. The only room I've had my whole life.
I was now leaving that behind along with everything else.
I glanced at the clock. The bright red numbers read;
12:29
I sighed knowing I needed to hurry. I had already folded my clothes and emptied my drawers.
I went in the bathroom and started packing my toiletries. After that, I was done packing.
I packed all my pictures and anything that was dear to me. Sadly, no Franky.
I felt tears come in my eyes and I took a deep breath. You're doing it for Bandit.
I glanced at my stomach and put my hand on it.
In nine months I am going to be a mom.
A single mom, thanks to that bitch, Lindsay.
I was ready to go until I remembered the most important thing I needed.
I reached under the bed and grabbed the shoe box which contained 5,000 dollars.
My mom had given this to me to keep because she trusted me to be wise with it. It was for emergencies and this was a major one.
I looked around the nearly bare room once more.
"Bye." I said.
I was saying it to Gerard, to Mikey, to Ray, to Frank, to Jennifer, to Mom, to the room, house, Belleville.
I was saying goodbye to my old life.
I grabbed my duffle bag and shoved the money in my wallet.
I climbed out the window, closing it, and onto the tiny decorative ladder on the side of the house, covered in vines.
I jumped down and ran down the street. The bus station wasn't far away, which I was grateful for.
I ran because Belleville isn't the safest place at night.
I reached the station a couple minutes later. There was a few people waiting but not a lot considering it's 12 in the morning.
I walked up to the window. There stood a lady, maybe around late fifties? Grey hair, beautiful green eyes, and a warm smile.
"Hello, sweetie." She greeted.
"Hi, ticket to Los Angeles please." I smiled nervously.
She rang it up and handed it to me through the circle in the glass.
"How far?" She smiled.
"Sorry?" I was confused and nervous.
"You have that beautiful glow. How far along are you?"
I smiled, confidentially. "2 weeks."
"She's going to be beautiful."
I was shocked at her words.
She.
I had this feeling it was going to be a girl. Hence, why I only chose a name for a girl.
"Thank you." I felt a little calmer, thanks to this nice woman.
"Have a nice night." She waved.
The bus comes at 1:00.
It's now 12:57.
The bus pulled up and that's when reality hit.
I was leaving everything I knew. I was going to raise a baby all by myself. I was running away so I could protect my child. I was doing the right thing.
"Goodbye." Was the last thing I said in Belleville before boarding the train and leaving my love ones behind.
