I've been pacing in circles nonstop since Blaise left, worried about what was to come. What if Alpha Kai said no? What if Blaise has to do something horrible?

"Cec? You in there?"

Blaise!

"Yeah, come in," he opens the door and walks in cautiously, like I'm his prey and he's about to pounce. "What, are you hungry? You're looking at me like you look at rabbits... And I'm not sure if that's a good thing.."

"Oh.." He doesn't seem happy.

Why doesn't he seem happy? what happened? What did Alpha Kai say??

"Are-are you ok?"

"I-no." He suddenly became very interested in the pattern of my carpet.

"What happened? What did Alpha Kai say?"

"Alpha Kai told me something big.." Big isn't always good... And he really doesn't sound happy.

"What? What did he-wait.. You called him 'Alpha Kai' you've never called him Alpha-Oh my gosh! Welcome to the pack, Blaise!" I squealed like Temp, and jumped up to hug him.

He kissed the top of my head, and I snuggled into him. "This means we can be together.. And make the announcement to your family. Only, when should we tell them?"

"Now."

"What?"

"I can't wait! Temp already knows. She guessed. We may as well tell Sliver, DJ, and my parents now."

"I love you," Blaise pushed me gently off him, then grabbed my hands and kissed me on the lips. I brought my hands up around his neck, and his rested on my waist.

"Gross! Get a room!" It was my six-year-old brother, DJ. His ink black hair, identical to mine, spiked up at random places.

"We're in it," I said, reluctantly pulling away from Blaise, but not moving my hands. "You get out!" I moved one arm, and pulled away slightly, to throw a pillow at him. He giggled, then threw it back, his blue eyes twinkling.

"Mom wants you downstairs for dinner," he said, smiling.

DJ is still only six, but already it's obvious he'll look like me. We both have my father's black hair, and mothers blue eyes... Although only one of mine are blue. We don't know why the other is green, but I was born like that.

"Fine. But Blaise is staying," I said.

"No PDA at the dinner table!" Silver, my sixteen-year-old brother called as he passed by the room.

"Shut up, Sil. I think it's cute!" Temp shouted back.

"Thanks, Tempest." Blaise said, smiling. "Guess what DJ!"

"What?"

And he kissed me, right there in front of my brother. His fingers we intertwined against my back, his arms resting on my hips, and mine were wrapped tightly around his neck. I immediately flushed, and I could tell he did too. I felt the warmth from his body radiating off in what seemed like waves and then-

"Ew! That's disgusting!! MOM! Cece and Blaise are gross!"

I pulled away slowly, but rested my head against Blaise's chest, and he wrapped his arms around me protectively.

"That's not any less gross, you know." DJ now had his arms crossed over his chest, leaning against th-e door frame.

"Whatever, we're coming." I unraveled myself, and grabbed Blaise's hand. We walked to the kitchen, getting ready to go eat. He bent over, and pulled my hand up to his face, then kissed it. Just for the heck of it. I smiled a little, and he grinned like a child. "I love you."
