My story ain't that good compared to those in your reading lists... trust me I know. But, I won't be giving up this story because of that. This is mine and that made it different. I'll forever cherish this book. Since this is my first. Judge me and my story if you had made one. Everyone can be a writer but only few did become a writer.👊😊 If you're finding a perfect story, then don't read mine. As simple as that.📌

Chapter 15
"Where are you going, Kryx?" Tyler asked me when he noticed that I was getting my black knapsack that I left lying on the healthy grasses. He was looking at me but he kept glaring at Diazo who was still frozen on her place. We were all curious of what Sylph told  that made her on that phase. But one thing I'm sure of  this moment,  and that is to follow Sylph. I don't care if I'm being odd and if I wasn't doing the right thing but this was what I want. I feel the urge of protecting her.

"I'm sorry, but I believe her," I replied though that wasn't supposed to be the right answer of his question. Tyler just gave me a knowing look. I noticed Diazo's glances on me too but I didn't look at her, I knew she would understand me. She said it herself that it's love if the man is willing to protect a woman knowing how flawed she is and how evidences supported her mistakes. I don't know yet if its love I have for her. But, I always had the urge to protect her though all eyes see her as the danger.

And if it wasn't love... I don't care. I just need to protect her.

"Be careful guys, I hope we will get the chance of seeing each other soon. Let's all stay alive," I patted Vein's shoulder before I went on. I can still remember the confused look of Cava. And I'm curious of what was running in her thoughts but I wouldn't know.

I followed Sylph's path. I can't almost see her and I had a hard time finding her since the healthy, thick leaves was covering the area. Maybe, she just walked too fast. And finally, I saw her. I sighed in relief and walked faster towards her. She stopped for a moment as she noticed that I've been following her. Then she looked at me. She looked pissed.

"Hey, why are you following me?  You should go back to the group now.," she said irritatingly then she started on walking again. She didn't even wait for me or for my response for her question. That's rude of her... but i like it. I fasten my pace to catch up with her.

"Sylph!!!, wait up!," I called. She faced me when I have caught up with her. I was only few steps behind her already but I'm already breathing heavily. How could a sweet woman walked that fast. She's like a pro walker.

"Why are you following a killer? You better go back.. or I'll kill you," she sounded pissed as she said those but she failed to hide the sadness of those words. She was little angry too, its genuine. I haven't done anything yet she seemed  mad at me already. I stared at her and her sadness was more lucrid.

"I believe you Sylph. I was just worried of you. It's not good for you  to be alone here," I replied. I wanted her to see the honesty of what I said. I hope she wouldn't mind.

"Whatever you'll say, you have to go back. You only added my burdens..." she replied then she continued her walk. I just followed her.

"And whatever you'll say, I'm going your way. I will stay with you," I said that made her more annoyed.
