Jens POV
Two weeks later...
We are finally going home with our Mia!
She only gained a pound so now shes just over 5 pounds.
Her heart is weak and still deformed but she can live as long as shes well taken care of and some ajustments are made, and oh my gosh she will be spoiled.
She's our little princess.
Harrys POV
'Ready to go home ladies'?, I asked Jen.
She was holding Mia and rocking her, talking softly.
'Yes we are daddy', Jen cooed.
We've been here for almost a month. Its time to go home.
We got in the car and Jen sat back by Mia.
The doctor said she needs to be checked on hourly to make sure her breathing is right and we have to listen to her heart to make sure its beating normal.
Other than that, we are set to go.
I never thought i'd be any good at being a dad, I had my mind made up I didn't want kids.
But now... I'm so in love with this cutie and her amazing mother.
'Check it out baby, Look at your room! daddy did amazing! But, for the next few months, you get to sleep in our room', Jen said.
Mia has her little bassinet in our room on Jens side of the bed.
Jen gave me Mia so she could go take a shower.
I laid her on our bed and laid down next to her and she just fell asleep within a few minutes.
'Well you're easy', I whispered.
I kissed her head and picked her up and transfered her to her little bed so I could unpack our hospital bags.
I got done and could'nt resist not holding her so I took her out and laid her on my chest while I watched the news.
She kept sleeping away while I rrubbed her back.
I heard Jen singing while she was drying off and fixing her hair.
'Mommy has a beautiful voice...', I said and kissed Mias head.
I glanced back at the TV
Prisoner Jake Bell was released from prison this afternoon after someone mysteriously paid his 2.5 million dollar bail fee.
I saw it on the screen and my heart dropped.
Right as I was mid panic attack, Jen walked back out.
'Jennifer, take Mia', I said.
'Oh sleepy princess, hi baby', she said softly and rocked her.
I left the room and locked every door and window and turned on the security alarms inside and out.
I went back up to the bedroom and Jen was feeding Mia.
Jen laid her in bed and I looked her in the eye.
'Jennifer, Jake is free again'.
'Oh my god', she said and sat on the bed.
'Listen, Mia is never out of our sight. EVER. And you dont leave this house alone. No one gets through me when it comes to you two okay? Just don't worry. I'm here'.
She just hugged me.
Jake needs to be taught a lesson and he better not ever come near my girls.
Because someone needs to kill that motherfucker and i'd be more than willing to do it.
