After we were all done with dinner and dessert, everyone went to their rooms. I let all the thoughts come stumbling back. At first I started crying. Then I got angry. I ripped off the thumb rings Fitz game me after midterms and threw them at the wall. "Hey!" Dex said. The rings nearly hit him in the face. "Sorry," I said. "I didn't know you were there," Keefe popped his head in the door. "How you doing, Foster?" He said. "Fine," I replied. "Is there anything I can do?" Dex said. I shook my head. A few awkward seconds passed before Dex left and said, "Night Sophie," I smiled. I sat down on the bed and Keefe came over to me. "Well.....now that Fitzy's out of the way, you can start thinking about other guys," He said nudging me with his elbow. I laughed. "And who might those 'other guys' be exactly?" "Oh, I don't know, there's one pretty handsome guy with great hair and gorgeous features," I laughed again. "I'm guessing that's supposed to be you?" Keefe made a hurt face. "Duh! Who else has great hair and gorgeous features?" I smiled. Keefe hugged me and said, "Night Foster," "Good night, Keefe," I say. I changed into my pajamas and got into bed. Slowly, I fell asleep.
