Ashlee got done showing us around and I kinda... like her...

Like she's super funny and kinda cool

Anyways.....

So when it was all over, we all went back into the locker rooms and changed into regular clothes again

Nick was giving me a ride home too

I walked out of the locker room and everyone was leaving, I went out the doors to wait for Nick but to my surprise he was already outside waiting for me

He smiled when we made eye contact and I smiled back and laughed

Since when am I awkward

We got into the Jeep and he started it. His Bluetooth automatically hooked up and Reel It In started playing

I wish I could say I was mad...

We both laughed and started driving

We got back home and he pulled into his driveway

"Sooo I'll see you later?" He says, turning down the music and looking at me

I think he's queuing me to get out and go home

I did.

I got out of the Jeep and he turned it off, getting out too

Then he smiled and said "See ya," as we crossed passed each other, him walking to his front door, me walking to mine

I still wanna hang out :(

I look back right as I got to my door, to maybe say something I dunno

But he was already gone

Huh

I unlocked my door and went inside, plopping my bag onto the floor and my body onto the couch.

Seconds later I get a text

Nick/ I'm bored wyd

Wow

Me/ Just hangin out
Nick/ Sounds fun, can I come over?

Bet

Me/ Bet

No more than a minute passes and there's a knock on the door

I jump up and walk to the door

Why am I so excited

I open the door to reveal Nick, with a huge cheeky smile on his face

We both laugh and he comes in

"How are you?" He asks sarcastically, laughing

"I'm doing pretty good, now that your here at least" I laugh back

"Oh?" He asks turning to me laughing with me

We laugh for a hot second and then I realize that I should take my bags upstairs

"I'll be right back, I'm gonna take these up really quick"

He nods his head and then grabs my backpack as I grab my swim bag, "I'll help you," he says with an innocent little smile

I say ok and he follows me up the stairs to my room, where we plop the bags down in the literal middle of the floor

"Wow it's pretty cool in here," he says looking around, "Haha I've only seen it through the window,"

I laugh, "Same with yours,"

He then walked over to my bookshelf, "Oh yeahh, I forgot you liked reading,"

I nod my head and kinda laugh

I feel like he's about to make fun of me for it.....

"I think that's cool, a lot of kids nowadays are just getting stoned and shit, you seem very innocent- NOT that that's a bad thing or anything." He stops himself and... blushes kinda?

Also... Did he just say IM INNOCENT??

"Hey you're innocent too!" I laugh

"Nooooooo, what are you talking about??" He says getting defensive and laughing

"You leave parties early, not to mention you were smart enough to get an Uber too and not drive, you're a lifeguard, aaand you asked me to do HOMEWORK!"

"That means I'm nice! Not innocent! What would you rather us have done at my house?" He says changing his tone of voice with that last part. Stepping closer to me.

"I dunno... I was just stating it as a point...." I say

I can feel my cheeks heating up

God dammit my face probably looks like a tomato rn

He stepped closer to me again

"But what should we have done if not homework?" He smirked
