"I don't even know her, she's on the jv girls football team though, yeah apparently she asked him and he said yes, I think her names Paige or something"

Brynn looks to me with her jaw on the table

"Since when??" She asks
"I don't know I think since just today, well at least he told me today because I'm tryna put together a group... Why what's wrong?" Stephen says
"Lilly-"
I stopped her, "I just wanted to make a group too and I didn't know he was taking someone, that's all."

Stephen doesn't need to know

I'll just end up embarrassing myself

"Oh okay cool let's do ittttt!" Stephen goes on, "It can be me, you guys, Nick, and Paige. Are you guys wanting to invite anybody else?" He asks
"No... I think that's fine." Brynn replies
"Cool cool"

We all went into our bags and pulled out our homework and laptops

Maybe 10 minutes later I looked up to stretch and noticed Nicks Jeep pulling into the lot...

I let out a sigh, causing Brynn to look up and see too

We made eye contact and then just went back to working

"What's up yalllll!" Nick says walking up
"What's up mann!" Stephen replies and they shake up each other

Nick sat in the last open bench, the one across from me may I add :/

"How are yall doin?" Nick asks and rests his head onto his hand

We all replied good

Hopefully Brynn doesn't bring up homecomin-

"So what's up with you and that girl going to homecoming?" Stephen asks

"Oh um," He glanced at me, "This girl name Paige asked me and I said yeah..."
"How did it even happen??" Brynn asks
"Well we were just originally having a normal conversation but then she brought up homecoming... And she was like talking about how she's asked 2 guys and they both rejected her and she doesn't know if she should even go anymore, and I was like noo you should go, ya know to try and cheer her up kinda, and she was like well would you wanna go with me... And how the fuck was I supposed to say no then..... So I was like yeahhhh if you wannnnaaaa.. And yeah..." He says

I'm literally going to beat her up

"Wait so you like just pitty said yes to her? I thought you like full on asked someone" Stephen says
"Nah it was just like that I don't know" Nick replied

I kinda just looked down and kept working on my flash cards

I heard them keep talking more about it but I just blocked it out with my thoughts

This shit is so dumb

Maybe this is a sign

Like literally the day I realize I like him

He gets a different girl

And like he's probably going to end up liking her

And then they'll start dating

She's such a snake oh my god
