Me and Lily had been dating for two weeks now and things were going great. We were practically together every night laughing about random shit. I was in my closet freaking out because I couldn't figure out what I should put on. Me and Lily were going to a fancy restaurant tonight cuz we wanted to be some fancy bitches. No joke that's literally what Lily said to me. I chuckled, she's so cute. That's when i saw my rose gold dress. How the fuck could I forget about this beauty? I put it on and damn I looked good. It's so over the top. I love it.

I had put on all my makeup and my dress was glowing. I suddenly heard a loud car honk from outside continued by a notification on my phone. I looked over at my phone seeing I got a text from Lily. "I'm here wya." I smiled as I quickly made my way downstairs. I jumped outside and ran to the car trying to not break my foot. Lily had a silver jumpsuit on.

"Omg, we match." I said while jumping into her jeep.
"Damn right we are. Btw you're killing it baby, I'm drooling." Lily said as I felt a blush appear on my cheeks. We drove to the place. It was so fancy oh ma hell. Lily took my hand as we walked to the door. We walked inside. Everyone was dressed up fancy. Damn, how much did this cost Lily? We were seated at our table. once we were left alone we both looked each other in the eyes in that "omfg" way.
"We hella fancy hoes" Lily exclaimed
"Damn right."
The night was so magical. The food was amazing and they even had a fucking jazz band play at the stage in front of us. It was just perfect. We were eating dessert when I glanced over at a table who was making a LOT of noise. It seemed like they were all hugging someone. like a group hug. when they let go I saw her again. Billie.

I hadn't seen her in months. She looked so happy.
"Happy birthday." a dude on her right exclaimed. I realised it was Q. Ew, i hate him.
It's her birthday? She laughed and sat back with a smile. I couldn't stop staring at her. What is my problem? I have a girlfriend for god's sake. I just never saw her smile around me. I was about to look away when our eyes met. Her whole expression changed. She looked at me in disbelief. We both froze up, drifting away in each other's eyes. I suddenly got pulled back into reality when I heard Lily's voice;
"Babe, you okay?"
I broke eye contact and looked back at Lily.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said with a faint grin.
"Come on let's go home." Lily said with a big smile. I smiled back and we made our way out of the restaurant. But for one last time, I glanced at Billie who was still staring at me. I passed her a wink and stepped into the late night darkness.

Lily and I cuddled up the whole night and watched Netflix. We were watching some horror movie when a jumpscare popped up. Lily shrieked and buried herself into my arms. I wrapped them around her waist and leant my head on her shoulders.
"Geezus christ that scared me." She said as we both chuckled.
I wish this could last forever. But all of that changed pretty quick.
