I Do

I still can't believe that three months ago I became engaged to Braden he's the best thing that's had happened to me and we've decided a date to get married, today, as I sit in a chair inside my apartment bathroom Charlie putting beach waves in my hair and puts a sorta flower crown or vine crown around my hair coming in front of my forehead a bit I look at myself and smile I can't believe in one hour I will no longer be Emma Wilde, I will be Emma Barrie, Victoria is now nine months pregnant and is close to her due date so I told her not to come to the wedding for her safety since she had false contractions last week Charlie then turns the chair around and starts apply makeup on me it feels like forever I look in the mirror and smile again I think I look pretty "let's get you dressed" Charlie said wearing a dark purple dress that covered one shoulder she isn't really a dressy person but it's my wedding and she wanted to I go into the closet and get the dress I have been hiding for a month it wasn't a typical wedding dress which made it the best I put on the dress and fix my hair out of the dress and look into the mirror and feel pretty satisfied with how I look "ready?" Charlie asked me while fixing up her makeup "Yes" I told her and she looked at me and smiled "I've never seen you smile this much even when Brandon was alive" she said "Well Charlie I have a great man in my life, he makes me happy, he makes me feel beautiful, and whenever I am around him I feel butterflies I blush I can't stop smiling, I giggle and laugh a lot, and I guarantee I will feel the same and do the same even when Braden and I are old sitting on the front porch swinging watching our grandchildren play in the front yard, I can't thank you enough Charlie" I told her and and walked over to her and hugged her "c'mon let's go I wanna see you get married" Charlie said and I giggled it's so nice to be happy again Charlie and I get into my car and she turns on the car and starts driving and it feels like we're going five miles per hour

We finally reach the place where Braden and I are getting married, the field where we had our official first date three big tents are set up aside from where the wedding is taking place one tent is where Braden is and the other tent is mine and the other big tent is where the reception will take place I see our friends and families gathering up where the ceremony will be I see the white chairs with lanterns beside them in a row where the isle is and I see the vine arch where Braden and I will be married I then go into my tent and sit down in the chair in my tent and sigh I wish time would hurry up

Finally the wedding march song begins my arm is wrapped around Braden's uncle and we slowly go down the isle and I see Braden his smile is from cheek to cheek he couldn't stand still he was so happy I finally get to the end of the isle and Braden's uncle hands me over to Braden and hugs me and sits down I look into Braden's eyes I could see the ecstatic feeling in his eyes and I wonder if they're in mine then the preacher begins

"We are gathered here today, on this happy and joyous occasion, to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony. Marriage is a solemn institution to be held in honor by all, it is the cornerstone of the family and of the community. It requires of those who undertake it a complete and unreserved giving of one's self. It is not to be entered into lightly, as marriage is a sincere and mutual commitment to love one another. This commitment symbolizes the intimate sharing of two lives and still enhances the individuality of each of you, Braden do you take this woman to be your wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to her as long as you both shall live?" he asks Braden said with no hesitation "I do" "And Emma, do you take this man to be your wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to him as long as you both shall live?" then I said as fast as I could "I do" I said then he handed me a ring and said "Repeat after me WITH this Ring I thee wed, with my Body I thee worship, and with all my worldly Goods I thee endow: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen" and so I repeat "WITH this Ring I thee wed, with my Body I thee worship, and with all my worldly Goods I thee endow: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen" and I place the ring on Braden's fourth finger on his left hand "Braden repeat after me WITH this Ring I thee wed, with my Body I thee worship, and with all my worldly Goods I thee endow: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen" Braden repeats "WITH this Ring I thee wed, with my Body I thee worship, and with all my worldly Goods I thee endow: In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen" and puts the ring on my fourth finger on my left hand and then the preacher says "Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife you may now kiss the bride" and Braden pulls me by pushing my back into him and kisses me and everyone claps I smile and Braden and I walk down the isle and into my tent "Oh my gosh I can't believe we're married" Braden said kissing my neck "it seems so good to be true" I told him "do you know how nervous I was?" Braden asked me "I was too" I said "but now the nerves are over and you're going to be mine forever" he said and kissed me again "I think they're all in the tent now" I told him he smiled "okay let's go" he then held my hand and we walked into the reception tent where people were getting food and music was playing and after everything the wedding is over and Braden and I are home in bed cuddled up "When do you think we can start a family?" I asked him I looked up at him since my head lay on his chest "Now?" he asked I giggled "really?" I asked him being curious "baby I would like a family with you it's all depending on you whenever is fine with me" he told me "well it wouldn't hurt to practice right?" I asked he laughed "of course not" he said and I turned over and we began making out I know I have made the right choice with being with Braden I am in love with him and nothing can make me not love him
