Phone Call

A month has past and it's been quite an exciting one Victoria had the baby and named him Tyler after my brother and today he's three weeks old he looks so much like my brother when he was a baby because Victoria fount his baby pictures whenever Tyler was born and compared the two and they honestly look like twins, Braden and I stopped trying for a baby we decided to just wait a little while but there is a chance i'm pregnant now and so I am waiting for the doctor to call since I went yesterday Braden's at work writing songs and getting ready to record a new album which means touring and if I am not pregnant I will want to go with him but they say it's safe if you are pregnant I decide I can't wait anymore so I grab my car keys and drive down to the drug store my nerves going crazy I finally arrive and walk in and grab four pregnancy tests I took whenever I fount out about the baby I was going to have with Brandon I buy them and almost run to the car wanting to get home and get to the phone and to take these tests before Braden gets home I walk in and check the phone and no one has called yet I go into the bathroom and pee on all four tests and lay them in the bathroom sink and sit on the bed worrying I wish Braden and I would've waited a little bit before trying to start a family I mean he would be a great dad but the thought of having to go through another miscarriage kills me but at least Braden would be here with me but what if he dies also I can't loose someone else I love I finally wait the three minutes required and as I am about to go look at the tests the phone rings I find the phone and see it's the doctors office I answer "hello" I say "Hi is this Emma Barrie?" the women on the other line asked I smiled as she said my new last name "yes m'am" I said "we've got your results back" she said and I walked into the bathroom and  pick one of the tests up and read it while she told me my results 

Braden walks in and I am sitting on the couch reading my magazine "hey baby" he said and I got up and hugged him and he spun me around "how was your day" I asked him "It was okay until I got home now it's a better one" he said and kissed my head I held his hand and guided him to the couch "how was your day?" he asked him I am now sitting criss-cross on the couch "interesting" I told him "how?" he asked me "well the doctor called today" I told him "what'd they say" he asked me almost on the edge of his seat wanting to know "I'm pregnant" I told him a smile appeared on his face "really?" he asked me like it was too good to be true "Actually two months pregnant" I said he grabbed my hand and I stood up with him and he hugged me so tightly "I can't wait" he said and kissed me all over "what about your carrer?" I asked him "you can come on the road I am not going on tour for a while and even when I do the baby will be born and it's safe we don't go to big arenas and by the time I go to Warped Tour in Canada the baby will be a couple months old and a baby needs to be two months old to be on a plane, baby I have thought about this" he said assuring me and kissing me "Okay I trust you with planning" I said he kissed me "So when do you want to tell Charlie?" he asked "another month or two depending on how big I get, I think it's good that I don't have sickness like my last pregnancy" I said "I know I am happy for you, well I am starving we should go get something to eat" Braden said "Yeah now I am eating for two I gotta get a lot of food" I said and he smiled and hugged me again "I am the happiest man in the world"
