After merienda ay nagpunta muna ang parents namin sa study to discuss something about business daw kaya naman kami ni Carson naiwan lang sa living room.

I stood up and turned on the television. Naka automatic na nasa netflix 'yon dahil ako lang halos ang nanonood doon. I looked at Carson na busy sa phone niya. "What do you wanna watch?" I asked him kaya napaangat ang tingin niya sakin at tinigilan ang kakapindot sa phone niya.

"Anything will do. I don't usually watch movies, more on p—"

"Porn?" I cutted him off habang tawang tawa ako his reaction is epic he's eyes widened like I said something so vulgar that is not allowed to be said out loud.

"I-I wasn't suppose to say that baby, I was gonna say powerpoints sent by our professors tsk." I laughed again 'cause he rolled his eyes and went back to his phone.

I just selected through night and day na movie since it's trending on Twitter kagabi. Heavy daw 'to at nakakaiyak so eto nalang haha.

The first half of the movie keri pa. Carson is just watching saglit then balik nanaman sa phone niya. But when they're in Iceland naaa focus na kami parehas sa movie.

The way that Jen's mood changes everytime is kinda annoying for me. Pangarap niya 'yon e tapos tinupad ni Ben pero hindi naman naeenjoy ni Ben dahil sa ganon. Then here's the part where they broked up.

"Bakit kasi ganon si Jen?! Ang hakdog niya." Sabi ko habang umiiyak kaya napatingin si Carson sakin at pinatahan ako.

"Maybe they're really not for each other. Maybe they just entered each others life for a lesson." He said pero bakas sa boses niya na kakaiyak niya lang din.

We focused again on the movie and it's now years later when Ben found out about Jen's illness. That justifies her actions back when they were in Iceland. Lalo lang akong naiyak kasi ikakasal na si Ben sa iba while Jen? She continuously loved Ben even though sometimes her memories are coming back from the times that they were still together.

The movie ended and I loved how Ben stayed for Jen while he was still in the philippines. They may be not meant for each other but atleast, their paths crossed and it changed both of their lives.

"What should we watch next?" I said while sniffing dahil kakatapos ko lang umiyak.

"You choose. Boring ako kasama kaya ikaw na bahala." Sabi lang niya so ako na nga nag adjust, ako na nag isip ng pwede naming gawin.

"You know what, were getting engaged soon tapos wala tayong alam na kahit ano tungkol sa isa't-isa. Tapos we started in wrong terms pa." I said and he nodded.

"Tara nalang sa garden!" I said at hinila na siya patayo. Nagpatianod naman siya kaya di ako nahirapan. I stopped when we reached our swing set.

"Hi! I'm Shiara Milkaeline Gomez De Liaño, BS hospitality management, second year transferee."

Sasagot palang sana si Carson pero pinatawag na kami sa study.

We stood up and walked upstairs. As we enter the study, we saw our parents talking and they stopped when they saw us and instructed that we should sit on the double sofa.

"So we are here to discuss about the engagement." Panimula ni daddy at tumango naman ang parents ni Carson.

"Uh about that po, I have something to tell you. I kind of have a condition." Biglang singit ko kaya napatingin silang lahat sakin, including Carson since di ko na nasabi sakanya 'to kanina.

"Go ahead hija." Ngiti sakin ng mommy niya kaya ngumiti ako pabalik atsaka nagsalita na.

"I am thinking of postponing the engagement party." Panimula ko at nakita ko na agad yung pagkagulat sakanilang lahat. I mean, I expected naman na this will be their reactions.

"What's the matter?" Bulong ni Carson sakin at umiling ako.

"Engaged naman na po kami ni Carson during the family dinner right? And the party will just made it official to the public so I want this engagement stay private until were done with this dating for real stage." I said and they all sighed in relief akala siguro nila ayaw ko na sa engagement.

"I think her idea is good. Nagsisimula palang po kaming mag date and were still trying to know each other so I agree on her." Carson said and smiled at me as he held my hand.

His dad chuckled and nodded. "If that's what they want, we must agree right? Besides, they'll make a good husband and wife relationship in the future if they will be able to know each other before getting married."

"So it's settled then? Hindi muna kayo maga-announce ng engagement niyo?" Tanong ni mom at sabay kaming tumango.

"But we have a condition in return." Sabi ni dad kaya napabaling ako sakanya.

"We will be the one to decide kung kailan kayo mae-engage at magpapakasal." Sabi ng dad ni Carson kaya nagkatinginan kaming dalawa.

"He's right, you just have to pick a number." Tita Diana said and smiled at us.

"Pick a number. 1, 2, or 3?" Mom said and she's still smiling widely gosh!

"What number?" I whispered to Carson and he just ignored me like he was thinking of something.

"We'll just pick one. Sabay tayong magsabi." He said and I nodded.

"Nakapili na kayo?" Our parents are really enjoying our reactions grr!

"Okay 3, 2, 1!"

"1!"
"1!"

Sabay naming sabi ni Carson kaya naman natawa ang parents namin.

"Have you talked about what number will pick?" Mom asked me.

"Hindi po. Basta sabi ni Carson sabay kaming magsasabi ng pinili namin." I said and they all smiled.

"So when are we getting engaged?" Carson asked and just like earlier, they smiled widely.

"You picked number 1 so it's a surprise. Magugulat nalang kayo engagement party niyo na pala haha." His dad said and were like, what?!

"If you picked number 2 it will be next year." His dad continued.

"And if you pick number 3, it won't be moved and will still be happening next week." He said and I think best na din na 1 ang pinili namin.

The conversation went good and after dinner, they decided to go home na.

"Goodnight sweetheart." Mom said leaving me alone in my room.

I took a quick shower and went to bed. Before finally drifting off to sleep, I received a voice message from Carson so I opened it muna.

"Goodnight baby. Dream of me lol. Sweetdreams and, I had fun today thanks to you." He said but instead of replying, I logged out and sleep with a smile on my lips.
