From the beginning of next day, Layla was wondering what meeting Tae's and Jimin's friends would be like. They were all older than her, but, according  to Jimin, they were all in their late teens to early twenties.

Jimin tried to comfort Layla during the day. He described each one of their friends so Layla could feel familiar once she met them.

They were four. Namjoon was the youngest of the lot and, according to Jungkook, very smart. Very smart that he graduated a year early. He likes to talk about human rights and "discovering one's self". Hoseok was older than Namjoon. He's a funny, enthusiasted guy and is really a sensitive and happy soul. Next was Yoongi. He's a really talented young person. He might appear a bit intimidating, but once you got used to him he's really interesting to hang out with. The oldest was Seokjin, or Jin. He's quite handsome, caring, and likes rebelling.

Layla listened to her friends' words and felt more comforted although her worry hadn't completely disappeared.

When Tae joined them, she mentioned that he doesn't have to drive her. Tae said it was no problem for him. But when she mentioned that her father had insisted that he drives her, Tae backed down.

Layla was wondering why her father has insisted on driving her. She expected he wanted an excuse to talk about how things are hard for her and it'll be better, but she was surprised that when he drove her he didn't ask such things. He just asked her about school and her new friends.

"Ok, and have fun," her Dad said as she exited the car.

"Bye, Dad." She waved at him before entering the mall.

Once she entered, she got out her phone and dialed Jinny.

"Hey, Layla. We're waiting."

"I know. I'm already here. Where are you?"

"In the food court. Hurry! I'm stuck with fools!"

"Alright."

Layla walked through the mall until she reached a small open space that looked much like a room. It was labelled "Food Court" and had chairs and tables scattered everywhere. There were fast food shops lined at the sides.

She found Jinny and Taehyung sitting with four other guys. She assumed that these were their friends. Most of them were playing with playing cards.

Just as Layla neared them, one of them held a card and started yelling. Literally everyone sitting in the food court stared at the person with either curious glances or goofy smiles.

Jinny quickly stood from the table and hurried to her friend while two of the four guys did the same.

"I literally don't know who they were. Never met them in my life," Jinny said as she reached Layla and they sat at a table across from Tae. The two guys sat with Layla and Jinny.

"What just happened?" Layla asked for everything happened so fast.

"I told you I'm stuck with fools," Jinny scowled.

Just then three other guys sat with them, one of them being Taehyung.

"Why did you run away?" Tae asked.

"Do I know you? Have I even met you before?" Jinny questioned her brother, narrowing her eyes.

"I'm Harry Styles, and we've never met before." Tae teased.

"Hey, then. I'm Beyoncé." Jinny played along. "Tell you what? I'll change your name in my contacts to Harry Styles." She got out her phone.

"Don't you da-" Tae was interrupted as Jinny showed him her phone.

"What is my name on you phone?" Jinny asked.

"Worst Sister Ever."

"Woah, you must have worked really hard on this one," one of the guys said.

"Hey," Jinny said. "This is Layla. She's a new student. Layla, this is Yoongi-" she pointed at one of the guys who had followed her when she was escaping the other table "Namjoon-" this was the other guy who followed her "Soekjin-" the guy who commented on Tae's title for his sister "and Hoseok." She pointed at the last guy. They all waved at her.

"Where are Jimin and Jungkook?" Layla said as she noticed they weren't present.

"Still on their way," Tae answered as he got out his phone and started playing.

"So," Namjoon said. "I've heard you're from America..."

Layla spent the next thirty minutes conversing with the guys. It was a little awkward for her at the beginning, but she got used to them. Just when they decided they were going to walk, Jungkook and Jimin arrived. Layla didn't admit it aloud, but she was really happy they finally arrived.

"You took you like forever to get here," Jinny complained.

Jimin rolled his eyes. "An hour isn't forever. Don't be such a drama queen."

"If anyone deserves to be called a drama queen, it's you."

"Can't you two stop arguing each time you see each other's faces?" Tae asked them, annoyed by their behaviours.

"Nope," Jinny said, crossing her arms.

"Nuh-ah." Jimin shook his head.

"So where do you guys want to go?" Hoseok asks, walking backwards while facing them. "Which shop?"

"I'm not really a shopping person," Layla admitted. "I don't like interacting with humans. No offence."

Yoongi snorted. "Neither do I. I've been dragged here by my wonderful friends."

"Well, you're lucky you've got wonderful friends like us," Seokjin commented.

Yoongi rolled his eyes at him.

"How about this?" Tae asked as they passed by a Gucci store.

"Are you telling me that you're carrying at least 500 dollars with you right now?" Layla asked sarcastically.

Jinny snorted. "He's in love with Gucci more than he's in love with his car."

Layla faked a dramatic gasp. "No way!"

"Yes way!"

Tae rolled his eyes as the others snickered.

"So are you coming or not? We'll just take a look," Tae said, crossing his arms as if shielding him from another of their comments.

"I would," Layla started, "if there isn't a great possibility I'd get kicked out once I entered."

Tae raised an eyebrow at her. "Why?"

"Let's just say that some people don't appreciate my constructive criticism."

This time the others didn't try to hide their amusement as they hollered in laughter.

However, Tae didn't find this funny. "Why would you offer constructive criticism to Gucci?"

"Why not?" Layla said boldly, crossing her arms as well.

"Because they're GUCCI!"

This caused them to laugh even more. Tae sighed and un-crossed his arms as if he's dealing with children.

"Ok, guys. Let's go to somewhere with food because I'm famished," Jinny said after almost half a minute of laughing.

"I agree," Layla said as she straightened her posture. "Unless Tae likes to suggest somewhere where they sell Gucci food."

"No need to," Tae mumbled and turned away from the shop beside him.

They all walked forwards, heading to a supermarket in the mall. Tae eyed Jinny and Layla who were skipping in front of them as he muttered to Jungkook, " I don't like it when they both team up against me."
