2 years.

2 years since Izuku was thrown into this madhouse.

2 years of constant abuse and neglect.

2 years of backbreaking training.

Finally, after 2 years...

He was ready.

All For One smiled with glee when he heard those words. Izuku Midoriya, the son of his brainwashed servant, was finally ready to obtain a quirk. And he knew the perfect quirk to give him.

8-year old Izuku Midoriya was sitting on the floor of his cell, his back to the wall, bruises covering his entire body. Another scientist had taken Hisashi's post in training Izuku, and his punishments were even worse than the ones Hisashi gives him. Not for the first time, Izuku thought back to the real world. The world above this hell hole. He wondered if anyone was looking for him. If anyone missed him. He wondered if the kids at his school were worried for him, or if they even noticed he was gone. He thought about Bakugo, and frowned. Memories of his constant abuse and torment flooded his mind. The constant beatings, insults, and threats plagued his thoughts.

"Stupid Deku! Why are you even trying to be a hero?! You don't even have a quirk! Why don't you do us all a favor and go kill yourself! You're just one less pussy I have to save when I become the number one hero!"

Izuku felt something wet drip down his face. Tears. Izuku was crying. No one missed him. No one was looking for him. He doubts anyone even noticed he was gone. Izuku put his knees to his chest, wrapped his arms around his legs in an attempt to comfort himself, and sobbed in despair.

Why had he been born like this?

Why did his mother have to die?

Why did he have to be quirkless?

Why did Bakugo have to bully him and torment him all the time?

None of this would've happened if he wasn't quirkless. He felt like such a disappointment.

Izuku was in a pit. A dark, cold pit. He had his hand reached out, asking for someone, anyone, to come take his hand and pull him up. To comfort him. To hug him. To love him. To tell him that everything was gonna be alright...

But no one came.

Izuku remained in that pit, crying and wallowing in despair.

Never in his life had he felt so completely and utterly alone.

A few hours later, the cell door opened. Izuku looked at who opened the door. It was the same guard who escorted Izuku to training every day since he first began.

"Come on," the guard said, "The boss needs you."

Izuku got up, his eyes red and puffy from crying. He exited his cell and began following the guard to his destination.

Meanwhile, in the testing area...

All For One was busy preparing the two testing chambers/tanks he'd need to complete the quirk transfer.

"Where is the boy?" He asked.

"On his way. The guard said he's bringing him here as we speak,"
Daruma said.

All For One nodded.

"Is he ready?" He asked again.

"Yes, Master. Izuku Midoriya is ready for the extraction process," Daruma replied.
