While Hisashi was working in the lab, Izuku was
forced to live without a dad at home 70% of the time. Hisashi had to leave very early in the morning, and wouldn't come back until very late in the night. This meant that Izuku had to cook breakfast, lunch, AND dinner for himself. He had no idea how to use a stove or a knife, and he couldn't order take out since he had no money. The only food Izuku got was when he went to school, but the cafeteria food was practically inedible. This, however, was the least of Izuku's concerns. It had been days since Hisashi had returned from the lab, and Izuku was scared for his dad. Did something happen to him? Was he dead? Did he leave him? Hisashi did go to work very early, but he always left a note telling Izuku that he was gonna be late and to be safe and to have a nice day and blah blah blah blah.... But when Izuku woke up one morning, there was nothing. He tried calling his dad with the number he had given him, but there was no answer. There was no trace of Hisashi anywhere. So for many nights, poor little Izuku was forced to go to sleep, hungry and feeling abandoned by his only family left.
2 weeks later, in the lab
The mysterious liquid inside the test chamber was slowly drained, and the unconscious body inside slowly fell to the floor. "Is it complete?" The biggest crime boss in the world, All For One, asked. One of the scientists present in the room turned to him and said, "Yes, Master. The test subject has been completely wiped of its memories." All For One smiled. "Good," he said. The test subject woke up. It looked around the room, confused. It had no idea where it was or what was going on. "Hello," a voice spoke. The test subject looked at where the voice came from. The voice belonged to a large man covered in shadows. "W-Who are you?" The test subject asked. "I should be asking you that same question," All For One said. The test subject looked conflicted. "M-Me? I... I think my name is... Hisashi." All For One grinned. The experiment was a success. "Excellent," All For One said, "Hisashi. You may not recall, but you work for me. You are a scientist that experiments with quirks. You will help me achieve my goals." "O-Okay," Hisashi agreed. He didn't really have a choice to begin with. He literally had no recollection of his life other than his name, and if he refused All For One's offer, he'd be thrown out into the world with no idea what to do or where to go. This man was offering him a chance and a purpose in life. "I-I'll help you." "I'm feeling a little bit of dejá vu Hisashi," All For One laughed, "But that's besides the point. Listen Hisashi, I have an Important mission for you." Hisashi was intrigued. "W-What is it?" He asked, eager to impress his "new" boss. All For One handed him a slip of paper with coordinates written on it. "This is the location of an apartment in the suburban area of the city," All For One explained.
"Fetch me Izuku Midoriya."
"Well, this is the place," Hisashi muttered, standing outside an apartment building. He rang the doorbell. Izuku was just lounging around in the living room, so he was startled when the doorbell suddenly rang. He wasn't expecting a visitor. He hopped off the couch and walked over to the door. With a little bit of effort (he was 6 years old), he was able to open the door. Now, he was expecting someone like the mailman, or the milkman, or the landlord trying to tell his absent father that he hasn't paid his rent again.
He wasn't expecting his father to be at the door
Izuku looked at Hisashi in shock, tears forming at the corners of his eyes. "D-D-Dad?" He said in disbelief. Hisashi looked at the kid who just called him dad. He had no idea who this kid was, but if he wanted to complete his mission, he'd have to play along. Hisashi smiled at Izuku, "Hey kiddo!" Izuku's eyes were practically waterfalls. "DAD!" Izuku tackled his father in a hug. Hisashi grunted from the sudden display of affection. "Yeah, yeah, I'm here kiddo, don't worry," Hisashi reassured the child. "Now listen, Izuku. Me and you are going to take a little road trip to my workplace, okay?" Hisashi told the child. "Okay!" Izuku joyfully exclaimed. He was so happy that his dad was still okay, and that he didn't abandon him. "That's my boy!" Hisashi said, smiling. He held Izuku's hand and walked to his car. He turned it on and drove to the lab.
Izuku always wondered why his dad left so early, but now he sees that the trip to his workplace is long as hell. They had completely left civilization and had entered a large wheat field in the middle of nowhere. When the car stopped, both Hisashi and Izuku got out and looked at the shack. "Is this where you work, Dad?" Izuku asked his father. "Yep," Hisashi said, popping the "p" at the end. Hisashi entered the shack with Izuku following close behind him. When both of them entered the new tube elevator, he pressed the button and they slowly descended. However, there was another button on the panel. A small, green button.
Izuku noticed that his dad was awfully quiet during the entire trip. He always tried to make small talk with Izuku, like asking how school was, if he made any friends, and what he wanted for his birthday. But now he was just silent, as if he was waiting for something.
When they were halfway to the lab, Hisashi pressed the green button. Immediately, green gas began filling the elevator. Hisashi pulled out a gas mask and put it on. Izuku, however, didn't have a gas mask and looked on in fear as the gas filled up the room. "D-DAD?!" Izuku yelled. He was coughing like hell and feeling drowsy. "DAD?! WHERE ARE YOU?! W-WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Izuku searched for his father but couldn't find him. Slowly but surely he was losing consciousness. His vision was getting blurry and he felt weak. He was so, so scared. He was crying his eyes out and screaming for his father. "DAD! HELP! PLEASE HELP!" Izuku screamed, before going into a coughing fit and collapsing on the floor. "D-Dad?" Izuku said weakly, before he went unconscious. Hisashi looked emotionless, as if he didn't care that he just watched a child scream for him as they slowly but surely lost consciousness. When the elevator stopped, the brainwashed Hisashi carried Izuku to All For One's office. All For One was pleased when Hisashi entered the room carrying an unconscious Izuku. "Excellent job, Hisashi. Put him in his new room," All For One said. Izuku's new room wasn't any better than a prison cell. Large, thick bars prevented Izuku from escaping and the only thing the room contained was a pillow and a toilet. Nothing else. No blanket, no bed, no sink, nothing.
Izuku woke up on the cold, hard floor. "Ah. You're awake. Excellent," All For One spoke. "W-What happened? W-Where am I?!" Izuku asked the man fearfully. "You were knocked unconscious and placed in this cell. You are currently 70 feet underground in a secret laboratory," All For One answered bluntly. Izuku was in disbelief. What were these people going to do to him? Where was his dad? As if All For One could read Izuku's mind (which he probably could) he answered, "Your father is one of my minions. Don't bother trying to jog his memory. The only thing he knows how to do is to work for me. And you, dear Izuku, will be our perfect weapon." All For One smiled evilly. He made a small laugh, which eventually turned into him chuckling, which then turned into him laughing maniacally. Izuku backed, terrified. When All For One was finished laughing, he looked at Izuku, smiling.
