"I'm sorry..."
The low and quiet tone added once again.

"I don't know what has gotten into you...
Seriously, for reals Jungkook, what is wrong with you?"
I went around in circles as the boy sat down
on his bed while looking down and hunching his back.

"I'm too obsessed and possessive of you!
I didn't want anything to happen to you, alright?
Just tell me if you don't need me, Jimin!"
Jungkook shouted and, it was obvious that he was
in a state of distress.

I sighed and got down on my knees
to get on his level and looked into his eyes.

"I want you around Jungkook, but not this attitude.
I want my old stepbrother back... the one who
showed how much he loved me through affection
and not violence"

My voice started to break as I looked down
with glossy eyes while I replay what Jungkook did to me
that one night.

"I didn't need you to do what Taehyung did to me...
That only makes you look like the bad guy.
I'm terrified of feeling your touch again, Jungkook.
You want me to call you 'sir'? Are you that harsh towards me?
I already belong to you, so why did you have to
make me feel uncomfortable with that?"

I cried out in despair as I looked down,
not having the courage to even face Jungkook who
just sat there without doing anything.

"I'm sorry that I am not the person you wished
I would be... Jimin"
Jungkook softly whispered out before breaking down.

"I thought you loved Taehyung more so
I figured that I could become like him so I'd gain your
love and affection again... it feels like he stole you from me"
His breaths were uneven and short, his body
was trembling as he clenched his fists on the sheets.

I smiled with my tears running down my cheeks
and placed my hands on Jungkook's.

"Listen to me"
I requested from him.
"You didn't have to change... Taehyung's actions
made me run right back to you... you know that I love
you to pieces, Jungkook"

My tears finally stopped flowing down my cheeks
as I continued to smile at Jungkook who has now
calmed down and smiled back.

"I'm sorry, Jimin.."
Jungkook's hoarse voice added before leaning in
and softly kissing my lips.
