Mickey was so fucking lucky to have him in his life. Mickey and Ian were so happy with each other and it showed. Everyone knows that they are happily together and they plan to stay together.
After Mickey and Ian broke up in their teenage years, they split up for a while but they ran into each other about 3-4 years after their brake up.
They got coffee together and they got to talking about everything. From how Ian decided to be a cop instead of going into the military to how Mickey had just gotten out of a relationship because of how different him and his boyfriend was.
That one day they got coffee turned into a weekly thing, they got to know each other really well again. Mickey had changed his life for the better he had gotten a job, and a apartment for a good price. Ian, as was stated, gotten a job working as a cop, and he bought a house.
Ian had felt his old feelings come back to him after about 4 months of talking with Mickey and Mickey he felt like he was on cloud nine when Ian confessed to him and asked him out about a year after starting to talk again.
After they started dating, they were both happy about where they were in life so they didn't push anything until about 5 months into dating where Mickey asked to move in with Ian(sense Ian had a house not an apartment, plus it was bigger).
It was a dream come true to both of them but of course with dreams, you have your ups and downs, but they always made it though them. No matter what they got back to each other, no matter how big the problem was, it doesn't matter what happen, they loved each other so much and they didn't want to lose each other.
There first "I love you" was on the first day they moved into a house together. Their first big fight was 2 months after getting together and they made up with each other in a 2 weeks time span. "Yes" was said 4 years into dating and the "i do's" was said 3 months after the "yes".
Ian was the one who ened up with the ring to purpose to Mickey. It was at a family gathering with both of their families, seeing as this happened at least once every 4-6 months. It was a little before desert when Ian got down on one knee and asked Mickey to marry him, in front of both families.
The wedding was done 3 months after that day. Everything was planned by, of course, Mandy and Fiona. Mickey shed a few tears when he saw Ian at the altar, and when they said the "I do's" along with Ian.
When they were both around their 25-30's they talked about adopting a child or two. At this point they moved out of Ian's first house and into a house they both bought which was a 3 bedroom and 2 bath.
The day they went to an orphanage, they fell in love with triples that were gonna get split up. They ended up adopting all three, 2 boys and a girl (all 4 years old).
When they raised their kids they made sure they weren't raised like they were. Isabelle, Ivan, and Leon, were raised the right way.
Isabelle had a bad temper growing up but she drew to let that anger and frustration out and she was a good one (artist).
Ivan was smart but he was a very shy kid growing up. His adopted parent (Ian(pops) and Mickey(dad)) tried to help him out of that stage but he never grew out of it.
Leon also had anger issues growing up, he tried to do what Isabelle did for a while but it didn't work out so instead he did sports to let every thing out.
Overall Ian and Mickey hsd a great life, sure they had there ups and downs but in the end they were happy, they stayed and raised amazing kids together. And those kids went on and did amazing things.
