[Emu and Adonis always talk through mind link. So no looking like a crazy person.]

[And the walk towards the ML household is 2 hours away from Adonis apartment. So, Adonis had to go through a forest in order to make it much faster than usual as he was kind of running late. (sleepyhead)

Adonis was walking while humming, waiting to avoid attacks from Derek as Emu will tell him. He knew how to fight, before his death Lien Malak he was a General, but right now he was in the body of Adonis Kai who was weak and fragile. He would need to buy that ninja skill that Emu was talking about. It will be killing two birds with one stone, first by having Adonis learn self defense that fits his body structure and secondly by completing a part of the requirement for accessing the Book of Life.

["Master, Derek will now throw a rock at your head."]

'...okay I can totally avoid that.' Adonis shrugged

"Emu, make an opportunity to avoid it."

["Roger that."]

As Adonis walked, he heard a flying object head towards his head *whoosh*

"!" Derek thought that the little boy will avoid his attack, he slightly panicked when he saw that it will hit his head but then he sighed in relief seeing that the little boy had squatted down at the last second... and he was cooing at a cat, Derek sweat dropped

Adonis smirked at this and while Derek was distracted by this event, he ordered Emu to have a Bee hive fall on Dereks head.

"ah!" Derek silently shouted from shock, a bee hive fell on his head! He quickly escaped from his location and went to a nearby lake and jumped inside to get rid of the angry bees.

"Ppft--haha! Did you see his face Emu!" Adonis laughed

["Yes, Master I even recorded it."]

"Let me see!...p-ppft! Ha, look at his face, its comical."

["*sigh* Master, should we continue."]

"Okay, *giggle* Oh I am so loving this." Adonis wiped the tears he had from laughing to much

------After 5 more pranks pulled on Derek-------

"Ugh, why me!" Derek shouted to the sky as he went on his knees

Derek knew that something was up but a voice in his mind said 'Don't worry about it, today must have been a bad luck day.'

He was hit and chased by a bee hive

He was drenched with maple syrup (Don't ask)

He fell in a ditch

He got scratch by a tree branch

He tripped on his own two feet (.)

And now he lost his pants from a goat! A goat! Why is there a goat of all places!

'..But now I need to concentrate to finish my 'mission' in supervising the applicant.' Derek thought with burning eyes of determination.

"I should pull a tie-to-a-tree trick." Derek smiled proudly, he knew his pranks would come in handy someday.

["Master, Derek is now working up ahead to place a trap to tie you to a tree once you step on a rope."]

"Mmm, I see. Emu make the rope non-existent once I pass through it and place it back once Derek comes to checks why it didn't work."

["Affirmative"]

"*phew* that was a lot of work. Oh, he is almost here. hehehe lets see if he passes or not."

Adonis continued to hum while a bird was on his hand singing with him. As he got nearer he saw the rope that was hidden behind a bunch of dirt. He will admit that all of Dereks pranks are splendid but he has already done them before to know his way around. That and he had Emus help to avoid Dereks pranks.

Derek saw the little boy walk nearer and nearer to his trap. As he saw the little boy step where his trap is located he thought 'Ha got you!' but he didn't see the little boy get caught by the ropes.

"!" Derek was shocked, he thought the little boy will fall for it. As he saw the little boy leave further away from the trap and the area. He jumped down to where he put his trap wondering why it didn't work.

"Wha--!!" Derek was cut off as he stepped on his own trap...he was caught and lifted by the air with his legs tied up on a tree.

"...I give up!!" Derek shouted

He touched his ear micro-chip and said, "He passes! Applicant number 101, PASS."

*sigh* "Today was not my day...who do I call to help me out."
