Groaning as she woke up with a pounding headache that the beaming sun did not help with, Elisabeta slowly opened her eyes to take in her surroundings. It was her house but messier. Oh and Elizabeth was sleeping next to her.

She tried to recall the previous nights events but all she could remember was doing a Q & A on Twitter, eating food, and getting blackout drunk. Perhaps there was ringing, but she wasn't sure.

She rolled over and grabbed a hold of her phone, yanking the charger off of it. She went through it when she saw she had a voicemail from Sebastian. What could he possibly want? She thought to herself. Pressing the speaker to her ear and pressing play, she listened to his words. His voice was a bit shaky, a bit slurred, but still perfect nonetheless. Oh how she missed him. Though, she wasn't sure why he needed to speak with her, but she stood up and searched for her robe and went down to the kitchen.

She decided to call him back as she made a pot of coffee and waited for him to pick up. After a couple rings, she heard a gruff, "Hello?"

"Hey," she greeted back, "its Elisabeta. I got your voicemail and decided to call back to see what you needed. You seem to have just woken up, though, so uh call me when you're more awake?" She offered to him, glancing at the clock on her oven. 8:47 AM it read.

Seeming more alert, he responded with, "No! I mean no, it's fine. I think we should meet in person... how about iHop? You're still in New York, right? At your other house here?"

Elise chuckled to herself and took a sip of her fresh coffee, "Yeah, I am. We can meet at iHop... yeah, that'd be nice," she big her lip as a way to prevent a smile from growing on her lips. Man, she missed this.

"Perfect-I mean great! Awesome, the one down the road from your house, right? I mean, obviously since that's the closest... I'm rambling, I'll be there in ten," and with incomprehensible muttering about his rambling, hung up.

Letting the smile grow, she took another sip of her coffee and ran up to her bedroom's bathroom to get ready for seeing him.

Walking into iHop wearing a tan blazer, green t-shirt, and jeans, Elise scanned the restaurant for her former lover and long time best friend. Her eyes landed on a scruffed Romanian with his Bucky length hair hidden under a backwards ball cap who was waving her over. Walking over to him, she took a seat on the opposing side of the booth.

"Hey," she greeted as she glanced down at the menu. Green pancakes? Strange.

Sebastian smiled at her gently, "Hey,"

"So why did you want to meet here? What could you have not said over the phone?" Elise questioned as her eyes continued to scan the menu.

Sebastian glanced at the window, staring outside the window. Ignoring her question, he said, "Do you remember when we came here a while ago at three am because-"

"We wanted to see who could eat the most waffles," Elise finished, smiling to herself as she looked up at Sebastian unconsciously with adoration.

Sebastian cleared his throat and looked back at Elisabeta, "Do you know what you want?"

She nodded her head in response, "Blueberry waffles," blueberry waffles were their thing.

He nodded his head as a smile smile appeared on his lips as he waved the waitress over, "Hey sugars, you ready to order?" The waitress asked with a heavy southern accent as she eyed Sebastian.

Elise cleared her throat, drawing the attention from Sebastian to her, "Yes, we are. Although, it would be lovely to get drinks first, so we'll both have water. Thanks," she waved off the waitress with the sweetest yet venomous smile she could muster up.
