CHAPTER FORTY FIVE: THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

Walking into Sebastian's apartment, Elisabeta took a deep breath. She could not believe she was about to do this. Again.

"Hey doll," Sebastian smiled as he placed a kiss on her forehead. "How was filming Okja?"

"Oh, it was fun," she smiled at him as she set her coat on the hook. She looked sad, like she was holding back tears. And Sebastian picked up on this, they were friends for over ten years.

"Are you okay?" That simple question set her off she fell into him and sobbed her heart out. She sobbed for minutes on end until she came to an end. She pushed her hair that was bleached from having to dye it red to play Red behind her ear and looked up at her boyfriend.

"You know I love you, right?" She asked him as she sniffled and held onto his arms.

"Of course," he smiled softly at her, "did you-did you cheat or something?" His smile fell at the possibility that she could have cheated on him.

Her eyes widened and she quickly said, "No, no, no," she shook her head, "I... I am so sorry," realization took over Sebastian as she said that phrase.

"No," he shook his head and let go of her, "no, you're not doing this again."

"I have to," another tea strolled down, "You deserve better, Seb,"

"I can't believe this," he trailed off as he turned around. He was filled with rage. Fuming. He couldn't believe she did this again.

"I know, I'm so sorry about this-" she tried to apologize but he cut her off. He turned around and anger was the only expression on his face.

"No, stop. This is just like you. So fucking selfish, all you think about is you. You never think about how I feel, how anyone else feels about things," his voice was booming and his eyes bore holes into her. But he was smiling, a scary, angry smile.

"What? That's not true, Seb, you know that," she took a step back. She was confused and hurt. He'd never said anything like this to her before.  "How could you say that? You know that's not true," she trailed off.

"I wouldn't put it past you," he snarled, "you're always so selfish. You didn't like it when I was happy with Margarita-"

"She was cheating on you!" She tried to cut in, but he ignored her.

"You didn't like it when I was with that waitress," he provided another example.

"She was a hooker," she corrected him. She couldn't believe him right now. He couldn't believe the things he was saying to her.

"You just don't want me to be happy, do you? And when we are finally getting into a relationship and we're happy with each other, you can't handle it, so you kill my happiness again."
