"Welcome home." Says Tobias.I look around stunned . Big windows cover one of the walls . His mother is sitting on the couch staining at me her end of her mouth curve up and then down when she sees me . "Hello" I say to her . She looks at Tobias and that is his cue to explain " the gov. Took her and faked her death she has been a coma for the past 2 yrs a smile creaps on his face as he explains then goes away when he sees his mother is not smiling. " what's wrong mom" he says a worried expression on his face . " oh nothing it's just I'm surprised and I'm sorry for what I did to you."it's ok" I say as convincing as I can I'm not sure I even forgive her but I have to try it is Tobias mother. Cristina ends the silent thank God "hello Tobias mother" " hello Cristina " she says a little to fast . " I'll show you your room tris " he says like he wants to get me out of there before a bomb goes off ." I'll be leaving I have work to do goodbye Tobias see you tonight" " see you tonight for dinner were cooking steak!" The door shuts behind her and then Cristina says ill leave you 2 alone to get used to your new home and then she shuts the door behind her leaving me and Tobias standing by my new bedroom door. He opens the door for me and we walk inside. On one wall there is a walk in closet and a dresser on the other side there is a queen side bed its the biggest bed I've ever seen and hanging on the wall above my bed is a picture of the 4 fraction symbols. I walk across the room in awe to my connected bathroom there is a huge glass shower and a even bigger jet tub and a huge mirror that stretches the entire wall. " do you like it" he says a smile on his face as he looks at my expression. I look in my closet there hanging on the only hanger is my old black dress that Cristina forced mr to buy in the dauntless compound when I got my tattoos.Tears start to come in my eyes impairing my vision but I can't brush then away. " after 2 yrs. you still have this" I say tears running down my cheeks but I don't care if he sees me crying I trust him. "Ya I could... His voice trails off but comes back I could never let all of you go tris" tears now run down his creeks and I smile a little and kiss him. Then we walk out the door and sit on the couch and stare out the window for a while then he turns on the tv and puts on a movie for us to watch together he rests his arm on my good shoulder and I put my hand on his leg a rush of energy rushes through me. " 6 and 4 together forever" I say in his ear lightly and he turns so I can put my head on his shoulder. " Beatrice and Tobias" he says with a smile and we both close are eyes and drift to sleep together.We wake up when his mother puts her key in the door. " the steak he says as he jumps up and I tip over on to the couch still partially asleep. " how do you like your steak tris " he trails off and comes back " oh you've never had steak ill guess well done" he grabs the steak and scoots out the patio door just before his mother walks in. " oh hello... where is Tobias ?" She says her voice muffled like she is a little scared or mad at me. But what could she be mad at me for, for taking Tobias away from her, for letting him come with me to the burro in the first place, or all the pain Tobias was in when my death was faked. I'll never know but I know she's mad at me for something to do with Tobias. " he's out on the patio cooking the steaks, they should be almost done" I add. "Oh , I'll go get dressed for dinner" she says and then goes down the hall and takes the first door tho the right. I decide my clothes are dirty too so I go get my black dauntless dress and take a quick shower. I'm washing the soap out of my hair when the patio door and I hear Tobias yell " dinners ready" and then I hear his mothers door open and close and her heavy footsteps through the hall. I finish washing the soap out of my hair and get out and dry my hair off. When I look in the mirror I see my self in the tattoo parlor after I got this dress and I stare in amazement at how much older I look and how much I have grown. Then I hear Tobias yell " tris are you coming" so I yell back " ya" and walk out the bathroom. When Tobias sees me all he does is stare I think I see tears in his eyes as he looks at me. I hear the words fly out of my mouth and I wish they dident " what" he looks at me and walks over and kisses me on the cheek and whispers in my ear " I wish we were alone right know" and I can't help by smile and whisper "me too." I sit next to Tobias while we eat dinner " do yo like the steak tris?" He says with a smile. " delicious" I say without hesitation " I never would have guessed you could cook" I smile at his reaction " hay I can cook very well I made breakfast every Sunday when I was little." His mother butts in " you can't say that it's pretty hard to mess up toast and eggs" she says with a laugh. Tobias stairs at his mother with a frown " you said you love my cooking " he laughs and I join in and so does his mother and we can't stop we laugh non-stop for a couple minutes straight. Finally we stop when Tobias get up to get dessert. For dessert we have cake just like the dauntless cake chocolate. When we finish his mother fake yawns and excuses he self to bed leaving me and Tobias alone at the table side by side. I put by head on his shoulder and my hand on his leg and close my eyes when he puts his arm over by shoulders to hold me close I lean on him and whisper so he could only hear me if he were as close as he was " were alone now"
