Perfectly Broken [ Shoto Todoroki X Reader]

No. 54 [School festival] Part 1

Previously 

'The Hero Miss. Miraculous a high school student at UA high school was seen today fighting a Rock Villian still yet to be identified. people are still shocked to see her using multiple quicks to obtain the villain in question, some have come to the conclusion that this hero is the same from the Komorebi incident but It's still in the air.'  

\\UA high - 1A classroom\\

"Now everyone don't forget that next week your 'What makes a hero' papers are due." Present Mic made sure to speak quickly watching as students started leaving the classroom as the bell went. As I was packing up Ashido came running over. 

"(Y/N) did you see the number of people at the gate today?!" She shouted at me slamming her hands onto my desk also meaning my notebooks. Sighing I nodded shifting her hands off my notebook.

"Yeah, the same as yesterday and the day before that." Zipping up my bag and standing she skid in front of me blocking my path to the doorway.

"Why aren't you going out there? Anyone in this room would kill for the attention you're getting." I felt Todoroki's hand on my shoulder as he stood next to me.

"Ashido you already had this conversation with (Y/N) every day this week." 

"But she should at least say something!" 

"There's no need for me to answer questions, they'll just come back if I do." She pouted at me but walked off. Todoroki and I started walking back to the dorms and met up with Uaraka and Midoriya to look through each other's essays. 

"This is so annoying!" Uaraka said as she read my paper. "I don't see anything wrong with this and I might cry from how beautiful it is." She groaned messing up her hair slightly.

"What are you talking about Uaraka?" Kirishima said before tears burst out of his eyes. I laughed a little making the corrections to Midoriya's paper. Mainly commas and grammar. 

"I still don't understand why they set an essay for us just before the school festival," Midoriya mumbled as he continued to correct Uarakas essay. 

"For time management skills Midoriya. We must be prepared for anything." I smiled down at the work as I listened to the conversation. The school festival was the day after the essays were due, no one really knew what to do for it. It's all at a standstill at the moment but the class was going to discuss it in the next hour. 

Adventurely everyone managed to gather in the common room to work out the arrangments. 

"We should do a maid cafe!" Mineta said eyes wide towards the girls.

"I will not put up with you any longer!" Yaoyorozu shouted out swatting him away. 

"A haunted house is always fun," Hagakure said clapping her hands together. I jumped onto one of the table's sitting aside for everyone to make a decision.

"It's too overdone, besides we don't have enough time to make everything." Kirishima disagreed, this was going to take a while. 

"How about a performance," Todoroki suggested. I glance back from the window to see him next to me. 

"Like dancing or talent quest?" Iida said and Todoroki shook his head.

"A Music performance." Iida put his hand to his chin thinking for a moment.

"But who would sing, it's not like everyone here is musically talented like that," Sero said but then everyone looked in my direction. 

"You should have seen (Y/N) at the beauty contest on I-island." Uaraka grinned and I blushed looking down to my knees. 

"Oh yeah, I remember that. We'll totally beat class B if we have (Y/N) singing." Both Ashido and Uaraka came over to me grabbing my hands. 

"Please do this, you'll be great." Looking between them I bite my lip before nodding.

"Ok, but I can't do everything. This is a class project remember." 

And it was settled. I was the lead singer, Jiro was playing lead guitar, Bakugo on drums, yaoyorozu on Piano, Fumikage on bass and Kaminari backing guitar. For the rest of the week, Jiro and I worked out the lyrics plus instrumental for the songs. 

\\UA Dorms - Todoroki's room\\

It was the night before we had to perform. We'd spent the day setting up the stage and effects. Mr Aizawa warned us if something went wrong we'd get a public scolding.

"Shoto tell me again why you wanted us to do a music performance?" I questioned him just after he turned off the light.

"I just... Thought it would be different and maybe I wanted to hear you sing again." I giggled snuggling my face into his neck. "You have a beautiful singing voice." Todoroki moved my face to kiss me and I blushed a little.

"You're gonna love the song I wrote for you then." I whispered out and Todoroki looked shocked.

"F-for me." I smiled nodding my head and he let out a sigh kissing me quickly again.

"Can't wait to hear it." 

\\UA high- Back stage\\

Our performance was just after class 1B's play, this didn't give us a lot of time to set up the stage.

"Did you just see our amazing performance, I dought you guys could even scrape past the talent our class has." It was Monoma being a bitch again. When glancing over to look at him Hagakure scolded me because she was doing my makeup. "And look, you all have matching outfits that just the topping on the cake...." He was hit in the head by Kendo as she walked off stage.

"Monoma I swear if you don't shut up."

"Everyone we'll be on stage in five. Get ready!" Iida burst into the room as Hagakure just finished my makeup. Todoroki, Sero, Kirishima, Aoyama and Koda were on the staging team. That leaves the rest of the class to dance. Present Mic was introducing the class to the audience that seemed to be growing upon hearing it was class 1A. 

"Are you ready (Y/N)?" Jiro said and I nodded my head smiling a little.

"As I'll ever be. Let's do this."
