After finding out who we were going up against I decided to head outside for the short break to recover some of my strength. Spring is here and I'm so happy, it's warming up and it's just relaxing. Letting out a sigh my eyes closed and I felt my body recover itself.
"(Y/N)." I glance to my right to see Todoroki coming over, how did he find me? I tried going to the quietest place near the stadium.
"Shoto how did you..." Todoroki sat next to me finishing my sentence.
"I knew you'd likely come around here to recover and it's sunny outside." I smiled weakly looking to the ground in front of me. "I wanted to talk about the battle." Slowly nodding my head I found myself biting my inner cheek. "I know you're concerned about fighting against me but don't hold back alright. We'll most likely face off in the third round and I'll be trying my best to defeat you." He held onto my hand and I leant my head on his shoulder shutting my eyes once again.
"It's strange, not all that long ago I was at home longing to just go outside and now I'm going to UA about to fight against my classmates." I could feel Todoroki smile down at me before kissing my head.
"We should get back, I'm up for the first round." Todoroki breathed and so we both stood, sharing a quick kiss for good luck although we both didn't really need it.
\\UA sports festival- Stadium\\
Although I wanted to watch Todoroki's round I wasn't fully recovered so I stayed backstage to finish recovering. My first opponent was Tokoyami, he was in third place last year. My best bet was to use fire against him. I know I can always teleport him out of bounds but that's just too simple. When I finally walked out of the backstage I saw Kirishima going against Monoma. Which only lasted a few seconds when Kirishima tossed Monoma out of the ring in one hit, for him it's the best thing other whys it would be a redo of last year with Tetsutetsu.
"Good luck (Y/N)!" Uaraka called when seeing me by the doorway. Oh, right I'm up in a minute. Walking back down the hallway I made my way to the entrance I was assigned to.
'Are you ready folks, our fourth round contestants are ready for battle. (Y/N)(L/N) the holder of 15 different quirks has been in the lead the whole sports festival and Fumikage Tokoyami third-place winner in last years sports festival. Who will be the winner?!' Present mic shouted out to the whole stadium. Tokoyami looked completely focus although he normally keeps calm throughout a battle as seen in last years sports festival and is will to admit defeat.
'BEGIN!' With that everyone cheered out.
"Now Dark shadow!" He was quick to attack avoiding two hits I thought it would be about to show off myself as a hero. Since that's what we're here to do. I shapeshifted my hero costume on. The whole crowd cheered, running forward I dodged dark shadow using slow motion. Gaining ground I made a circle of fire around him slowly making him move backwards.
"Tokoyami is out of bounds. (Y/N) has won the match!" Removing the fire surrounding him we shook hands.
"Good game." I smiled and he bowed right after. The crowd cheered and I waved a small amount smiling before walking off. It's only going to get harder to win from here on out. Going back up to the stands I got a hug from Uaraka.
"I can't believe you won that so easily (Y/N). You're amazing!" She cheered and I blushed going down the few steps to see everyone else.
"Are you sure it's alright for you to be wearing your hero costume?" Jiro asked as I sat down. I nodded my head.
"Since I used a shapeshifting quirk it's fine." Throughout the next four rounds, the people who I thought would win did and it was no surprise when seeing Todoroki go onto the next round.
"Right I should get going." I smiled walking back to the waiting room before my next opponent Kirishima. I've already thought of a way to win against him, it'll take a few quirks but I know how to win.
'This next round is gonna be one hard battle! She's the girl who's been ahead of the other classes this whole sports festival (Y/N) (L/N)! And Eijiro Kirishima who punched his way through the last battle!'
Letting out a shaky breath I waited for the signal to go off.
'Begin!'
I watched as Kirishima activated his hardening quirk. I sent a wave of ice at him and when he started punching the ice I sent fire towards him to create enough steam to cover my position. teleporting behind him Kirishima didn't notice.
"Where did she go?" I heard him whisper to himself before I kicked his side. He didn't stumble much before facing me. "I forgot how fast you can be." He grinned toward me and I smiled a small amount watching as he tired punching me.

Once he was down on the ground I took that moment to change the weight of my body so I was able to lift him up and out of the ring. I'm happy I was able not to hurt Kirishima too much. When everyone cheered I went over helping Kirishima up from the ground.
"I thought that's how it was going to go down." Kirishima grinned gripping my hand for another moment to steady himself.
"Sorry If I hurt you," I mumbled walking with him basically ignoring the crowd of people.
"It'll take more than that to hurt me. Maybe sometime soon you could teach me some martial arts." I smiled nodding my head as we walked together back up to the stands.
