Perfectly Broken [ Shoto Todoroki X Reader]

No.64 [Your sick]

I'd been training hard with Nemuri for the past month, Todoroki and I had sparred together a few times when Nemuri had meetings after school. But lately, I'm starting to feel sick. This is always the time of year I start getting sick. The doctors aren't fully sure why but I've got tablets to help cope...Well, that was until a week ago. 

[Last week]

\\UA high 1A Dorms- Common room\\ 

It was early in the morning and I'd just taken my normal tablet. 

"What's with the tablets (Y/N)? Are you not feeling well." Asui asked while walking past with her breakfast. 

"I'm feeling just fine thank you they're just..." 

"Pregnancy pills!"  Mineta burst out and I glared at him, I keep all that sort of stuff in my room, not in a place where everyone can see. 

"No, it's to stop me from getting sick mind you and The pill isn't just to stop pregnancy its also for...." Before I could finish my sentence he snatched the container from me. 

"I don't believe you let me see..." He squinted his eyes looking at the description. 

"Don't just take things without permission!" Yaoyorozu hit the back of Mineta's head making the tablets fall onto the ground and right after Iida came into the kitchen. 

"What's going on here!" Then he slipped onto the container crushing the tablets inside. I let out a long sigh. 

\\UA high main building- 1-A classroom\\

Those tablets take weeks to make because It's made for me and I only need one batch per year so now I have to wait two or three weeks before another bunch is made. I struggled to get out of bed today and almost fell asleep twice in class. I knew it was coming and I still had at least a week before I could start taking those tablets again. 

"(Y/N) you don't look so good." Uaraka walked over to my desk when the class was dismissed. 

"I'm fine." I yawned out coughing a little. Asui put a hand to my forehead before pulling it away, shocked written all over her face.

"You're burning up (Y/N)." I hummed putting things into my bag.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N) this is all my fault, I shouldn't have tried taking back those tablets from that little perv." Yaogorozu was blaming herself again although I told her not to worry about it. I sighed standing up feeling my nerves go off from standing.

"Don't worry about me guys I'm fine, It's normal." It's better if they don't worry about me, managing to slip out of the classroom I gasped when I felt a hand touch mine. 

"Your skin is on fire (Y/N) you shouldn't be walking around like nothing is wrong."  Todoroki grasped my hand a little too tightly making me wince due to my sensitive nerves. "Sorry, come on let's get you in bed." I simply nodded following him down the hall and back to the dorms. The moment the crisp air touched my skin I started coughing more. "You should've stayed in bed all day." Todoroki sighed out suddenly making me have a piggyback ride to take me the rest of the way to my room. 

" I didn't want to make you worry," I whispered out blushing slightly. I clicked the elevator to take us up and Todoroki didn't say anything for a moment. 

"I was already worried." He breathed out as the elevator started taking us up. "Midnight told me what might happen if you don't take that medication." The elevator door binged and Todoroki walked me down the hall. "Constant tiredness, Nausiation and mood swings and you still did those exercises yesterday?" Todoroki let me down to open the door and I sulked all the way over to my bed. "Why didn't you tell me in the first place?" I coughed more while lying myself down on the bed. 

"You've been doing well in school lately and I didn't want you focusing on other things." Todoroki sighed yet again sitting on the edge of the bed threading a hand through my hair.

"(Y/N) you're not just another thing for me to worry about, you're my girlfriend. You helped me when I was sick, why can't you let me return the favour?" I felt tears prick through my eyes, no the mood swings. 

"I'm s-sorry." I sniffed and Todoroki's eyes went wide. 

"I'll go get you some water, you should change from you're uniform." He kissed my forehead and I nodded sniffing. Todoroki left to get me a glass and I slowly got something to wear and started getting changed just after I'd tied up my pants the door of my dorm slowly opened so I grabbed my P.J shirt quickly. "It's just me calm down." Todoroki smiled and I nodded turning to face the bed. Starting to button up my shirt Todoroki's hand lightly touched my back when walking past to put the cup of water on my bedside table. "Mr Aizawa agreed you should take the day off tomorrow. I'll write down some notes for you and come by at lunch with something for you to eat." I did the same for him the two days he wasn't at school. 

"Thank you, Shoto." He took my hand and pulled the covers so I could get into the bed. 

"I'll be studying at your desk if you need me." Humming in response he pulled out a chair not too far from my bed and in only a few minutes was I asleep.

This chapter is dedicated to ME!! I've been sick recently and wanted to reflect some of my pain into this chapter haha, it's been horrible.
