Second-year sports festival, I'm doing this mainly because I've wanted to write about this for a while. Side note not fully sure a how good all these chapters turned out but hope you enjoy my interpretation.

\\UA high Main building- 1A classroom\\

Nothing intense happened over the past few months. No Villian attacks on the class. In our month off I did help Midnight with some Hero work but life had calmed down, it was refreshing.

"Quiet down, now you all know the sports festival is coming back up again. As second years you all need to show your progress over the past year." I let out a long sigh looking out the window while Mr Aizawa talked, I'll most likely need to fight against Todoroki....  I bit my lip glancing to Todoroki who was looking to the front of the class. Sighing out I looked to my papers. A lot happened in last years festival and I wasn't here yet. I just watched it at home. Now that's going to be an intense day.

[One week later]

\\UA sports festival- Waiting room\\

I haven't talked to Todoroki about us maybe battling it out, it's not like we haven't sparred together before, we train often together. This is just different and I don't want to hurt him.

"Are you listening to me!" I jumped when Bakugo slammed a hand on the table. "I'm not going to hold out on you just because we're friends, I'll destroy you if I have to." Bakugo glared at me and I stood from my seat.

"I can't imagine you going easy on anyone here. But I doubt you could lay a hand on me." I cheekily smiled making Bakugo yell out.

"What was that shorty!" I laughed as Kirishima held him back.

"(Y/N) why you gotta rile up Bakugo before we go out?" Ashido whined before Iida started shouting to everyone to walk out into the stadium. From popular demand, Nemuri was the presenter once again. Letting out a sigh when she gave me a thumbs up I rolled my eyes at her.

"(Y/N)." A whisper next to me from Todoroki trying to talk to me was stopped when Nemuri glared at Todoroki before she continued talking. Maybe he could tell I was slightly nervous. He took hold of my hand making me smile looking to the ground.

"Now we'll have last years winner Bakugo say a few words." Wonder what he has to say after last years incident?

"I won't have a half-assed win like last year." Iida hit a hand over his face out of frustration and sweat rolled down my face. It's the same as last year.

"Right onto the first game of the festival is......" A screen went up behind Midnight and showed the first match.

'Maze'

"This maze is outside the stadium as long as you don't break the walls to the outside you're free to use your quirks as you please. There are 40 items in the centre of the maze, you need to collect one of them to then leave through one of four doors corresponding by colour." We all went towards the door, man it's gonna be tight like last year. Todoroki let go of my hand and the two of us nodded at one another. The lights were taking forever and the people around me started getting agitated.

"GO!" A shout from Midnight and everyone was pushing through the door. I sighed jumping up electrifying my hand to grip onto the wall before running above everyone else. All I need to do is focus on winning this round nothing else. Jumping off the wall onto the ground ahead of everyone else I commando rolled to the floor before clicking my heel on the floor. My eyes shut and I now had a map of the whole maze. They made two routes to the centre of the maze, both guarded by robots and other traps. Running ahead off my classmates I made clones to got in other directions for the people wanting to follow me. The quickest route to the centre was guarded by the most robots and traps in the walls of the maze so to minimize that... I electrified my feet once again to climb the walls and started running across the top of the maze.

"Come back here!" I turned still running to see Bakugo flying through the air after me.

"Why aren't you focusing on the task at hand?" I questioned him, he was so focused on me that when one of my clones made a water rope around his leg sending him into the maze again he looked purely shocked. When jumping across a gap I noticed spikes coming towards where I was stepping, they knew people would try to do this. Icing the path for myself enough so the spikes my eyes went wide when they turned into a chainsaw machine coming towards me. Teleporting back down running through the maze will take less time if there's more like that. One of my clones had made it to the centre and took a blue pole which was the first to be removed.

Everything faded into black and white. Dodging an attack from a zero point robot I climbed up the arm that tried to hit me and used the height to see the exit I need to head to. When seeing the centre of the maze I automatically teleported there. My clone tossed the pole and I ran to the next section of the maze. People were getting through the maze faster than I thought. Midoriya, Todoroki and Bakugo were gaining ground followed by Iida. Avoiding an explosion from the wall to my right and then another few steps to my left it was apparent the walls were sensitized, made to detonate the moment someone went past. Stopping to electrocute the walls disabling the bombs I managed to run through before they activated again. A blue door came into sight and I ran straight through becoming the first student to pass the first round of the sports festival. Everyone cheered when seeing me and I panted slightly. If that wasn't a maze I could have teleported through the whole thing.
