"you saw it didn't you?" Jennie asked Jungkook. he held onto her phone tightly still.
he nodded, "hm. I saw it" he reply back, losing his smile as he stare into her watery eyes.
just then she busted into tears as the moments from earlier hits her one more time.
he glared at her breaking down in front of him, "yah, why are you crying?" he interrogated as she continues to sob silently.
Jungkook scooted closer, wanting to comfort her but then a groan come from her stomach instead, she was hungry. "you didn't eat yet?" he asked her.
she wiped her tears and snot, "I was going to go buy some food but then.. but then..." she looked him in the eye, "but then I saw them together so I couldn't get anything to eat." she explained through her weeping.
he furrowed his eyebrows followed by a sad smile, "come here!" he said as he grab a hold of her hand and dragged her to his kitchen. he sat her down onto the dinning table and told her not to move. after making her sit down, he skipped to the outlet to charge her phone.
"what do you want to eat? fried rice? cup noodles? eggs? tell me." he asked through the process of putting his apron on and tying it behind him.
"me? milk ice cream." she said out of topic as he immediately paused just to look at her if she was being serious.he raised an eyebrow at her and she looked like she was going to cry if he didn't give it to her.
he open the fridge and took out some milk ice cream that he bought the other week from the grocery store and gave her a pack, "eat this while you wait for dinner" he said, reminding her that it was now night time.
"spoon." she stated as a way of asking for it. he grabbed it from the counter and handed it to her. her cheeks was still wet from the tears but at least eating something cold could chill her emotions down.
he took out some carrots, green beans, kimchi, bacon, eggs, and rice and placed them all on the table. he chopped the kimchi, bacon, and carrots into bite size pieces. he prep everything before starting the fire to cook the eggs and bacon. he was doing everything in front of it.
he didn't notice this, but Jennie had her eyes on him all the way from prepping to cooking. she was admiring his cooking skills, it wasn't bad nor was it too professionals. she finsihes her ice cream as he also finished cooking.
"done?" he asked her before grabbing the spoon and recyclable ice cream cup away."yea.." she nodded. after doing so, he turned to look at her, she looked much better now, her eyes were now dry and all she was doing was waiting for the food.
"i didn't know you can cry so easily" Jungkook pointed out as he stir the fried rice for once last time before closing the stove. by him pointing that out, she felt bad for herself as well as embarrassed.
"I do too" he said as he put a plate of fried rice in front of her and one for his self. "this is our dinner, sorry if it looks unappetizing. it's really good though, eat up" he encouraged her with a chuckles. what a laughable guy he was to laugh at a moment like this.
nothing was making her lift her cheeks up, but by his cooking, she smiled a little, "thank you for the food" she said before grabbing her spoon and scoop one spoonful to put it in her hungry stomach.
'it taste as it looks, not even salty' she thought to herself but forced each spoon in as a way to saying he did well. he glared at her while eating his, "good, isn't it?" he asked while chewing like a bunny. she nodded, wanting to give up on shoving it in her mouth.
he knew she was faking it, his mother always tell him that he was the worst cooker ever but for Jennie to pretend it was good, made him feel a little but better. he stood up to grab some cold water for both of them.
