(Y/n)'s POV

"Cruel, just cruel," Charlie said and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh my, he is quite the jerk," Cas replied, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?"

"Yes I'm fine, would you quit it Charlie, it wasn't that bad," I replied.

"I found you sprawled out on the kitchen floor."

"And? Just give it a rest, I'm fine," I said, smiling.

"Kitchen. Floor." I eyed the rambunctious redhead. She frowned and shrugged. "Whatever. If you need me and Cas to kill him we will."

"Wait, kill?"

"No, she's joking Cas. Seriously, there's not even a reason to kill him or anyone else, because I only care about my friends. He is not my friend so he has free reign to do whatever he pleases and if he wants to make fun of me so be it. I don't care," I said.

"You poor little baby," she replied, squashing me in a hug and I only sighed.

"I'm very confused," Castiel stated, tilting his head.

"Oh here he comes, be strong."

"You're literally the worst."

"I love you too," she said, letting me go and tugging Cas away.

"Hey," Dean said and I sighed, shutting my locker.

"Hi."

"Care to talk about yesterday?" He asked and I pursed my lips, tapping my chin as I pretended to think.

"No thanks, I'm good," I replied.

"Why not?"

"Nothing to talk about," I responded and he eyed me.

"So the whole pretending to care? Nothing."

"Yes."

"I see, so if I said that I don't need to pretend to care because I already do, that means nothing to you." I paused.

"Yes."

"Really?" I frowned and shoved my hands in my pockets.

"It's not nothing, but it is bullshit," I said.

"Why?"

"Because you don't give a shit about anyone, besides your brother," I said.

"You're a human being."

"Thanks for being 'generally concerned' about me, but please save it. If that was the case then you wouldn't have been such a jerk to me or other human beings," I replied. I began to walk off.

"Is this about the text?" I stopped and turned. "Azazel is just a jerk."

"Then why do you hang out with him?" He was silent after that and I frowned. "Look Dean. I don't care that you think I'm gross or a loser. Whatever. Say whatever you want, think whatever you want, but don't try and apologize to me about it. We're not friends, so stop trying to pretend like we are." I eyed him, genuinely not caring anymore.

"B—"

"My feelings aren't hurt, so you can stop. Seriously, it's not a big deal," I said. "There was a time when you calling me mean names would really hurt, but I seem to have realized that you can call me whatever you want and on the surface it stings, but it really doesn't affect me in the long run."

"(Y—"

"I'll see you in class Dean," I said, patting his shoulder and turning around. I only got a few steps before he grasped my wrist.
