Hey people.

Enjoy~

(Y/n)'s POV

I glanced at my phone with a sigh, tucking it in the back pocket of my jeans. I leaned up against my car and rolled up the sleeves of my flannel shirt. Whatever Dean and Sam were doing it was taking forever. I glanced up seeing that the two Winchesters were coming out the front door, but with Ruby beside them.

I watched her sling an arm around Sam who shimmied away. She pet his head and I frowned. What was she doing prowling after Sam like that? He was only a Freshman. She broke away towards her own car and Sam shoved Dean as they neared my car.

"I'd appreciate if your friend wouldn't prey on me," Sam scoffed and Dean rolled his eyes.

"Oh don't worry about it, she's just messing with you," he replied. I frowned, disappointed by his reaction. You'd think he'd say something to Ruby about it, for his brother's sake. Sam looked rather uncomfortable.

"Hey guys," I said, smiling. Sam seemed to ease up. I could tell he liked me more than Dean's other friends.

"Hello sexy." I glanced at Dean, raising an eyebrow.

"She's giving us a ride home, keep it in your pants because I'm not walking," Sam sassed and I snorted. Dean rolled his eyes and Sam climbed in the back seat. I plopped down in the Driver's seat and started the car, letting the air conditioner blast. "Hey (y/n)?"

"Yeah?" I asked, pulling through the empty spot in front of me.

"We saw your mom yesterday," Sam said.

"Where?"

"At the grocery store. She recognized Dean," he said and I glanced at the younger boy in the rear view mirror.

"Let me guess she said something terribly embarrassing," I replied and I heard Dean snicker besides me.

"Possibly," Dean added and I sighed.

"That woman. What did she say?" I asked, turning out from the school.

"Well she was excited to see Dean, and she did happen to mention that you were single," Sam piped in. I sighed, turning a corner to cross the train tracks.

"Great, so she's trying to find me someone again," I said.

"Again?"

"Yeah she goes through brief periods of time where she likes to find me guys. It's actually the worst. Waiters, cashiers, anyone that's my age," I sighed.

"I see and I'm a contender?" Dean asked. I scoffed.

"You're my age and breathing so by my mother's standards yes."

"So why is she at it again?" Sam asked.

"Whenever she's lonely she assumes I am too. I guess since my dad just died she needs to find me a man in my life. Not like I had one anyways," I replied. The car was quiet. "Anyways, no I'm not looking and certainly not for you."

"Well, I told her that you had just gotten out of a relationship with Balthazar," Dean said and I choked.

"You what?!"

"Did you not tell her?"

"NO!" We stopped at a stoplight and I rubbed my forehead.

"Why the hell didn't you tell your mom. She'd clearly be excited about it."

"I didn't tell her because it was fake you dummy," I blurted. He stared at me.

"What?"

"It was just to get you to leave me alone, which clearly didn't work," I said, stepping on the gas.
