I wake up to bright lights and lots of pain. Excruciating pain all over my body. 'where was I?' I think to myself. Everything was blurry. I think I hear my dad.
Everything goes dark again.
I was in the hospital for over a month. I have to use crunches just to walk because of how bad one of my legs broke. They said I'll walk with a limp and have back problems for the rest of my life.
Yet that wasn't the thing that bothered me the most.
Lannis.
She apparently had died.
I couldn't believe it, I absolutely refused to. Till it hit me one day and I couldn't take it anymore. I cried uncontrollably for an hour.
Maybe two.
You could say I was lucky I still had people in my life who loved me very much. My father refused to leave my side at all for the first two months. He wanted to make sure I was okay.
And eventually I did get better.
Before I knew it days went by, then months, then years.
