Error sighed in relief as they finally finished all their work. It had been a full two months and both he and Dust were beginning to worry Blue and Ink had given up on them.

"You know what I'm thinking Dust," he said. Dust grinned.

"Border time." Killer watched the two excited men. His face was still melancholy and he rarely ever smiled. Jealousy reared up in him, as it always did when they talked about meeting Ink or Blue, as they left the room and he tried hard to keep from snapping. Having finished his own work a few days ago he'd been left to his solitary thoughts and struggled to break free of them. He watched them leave the grounds from the window and sighed. Pulling out the piece of paper that was his last piece of Dream he whispered.

"One day Dreamy. One day."

Dust and Error became more and more uneasy as they moved through the forest.

"Is it just me or has this forest overgrown more since last I saw it?" Error asked. Dust shook his head.

"No, it's definitely not you. There are fewer people around too," he answered. Error gulped. They reached the wall within an hour and stopped.

"I think something very wrong is going on here," Error said. Dust nodded.

"We should investigate."

"Agreed." They opened the gate and froze. No longer stood the lively and colourful Light Realm, a direct contrast to the dark and dreary Dark Realm, in its place was the black incarnation of Hell.  "What the hell..." Error trailed off.

"Happened here?" Dust finished. They cautiously stepped out through the gate, looking around. A scream rang out in the distance followed by a maniacal laugh. "We have to find Blue," Dust said.

"We have to find Ink," Error said at the same time.

Nightmare shifted in discomfort again and Cross glanced over at him.

"What's wrong, Nighty?" She asked. He frowned.

"There's something wrong. Something very wrong," He replied. "I feel... a lot of negativity but I don't know where it's coming from." Cross wrapped her arms around his neck and sat on his lap, forcing him to look her in the eyes.

"You shouldn't worry about it. She said. "If there's something wrong, one of the guys will tell you." Nightmare shook his head and kissed her.

"You're right but everything just feels so...wrong."

"Then wait until someone tells you its alright," She huffed. Nightmare grinned at her. "Don't look at me like that!" He booped her nose.

"You're so cute."

"Nightmare!"

"Ink! Where are you?!" Error called. Dust jogged beside him.

"Bluey?!" He called. They were in the midst of the darkness now. Screams echoed everywhere and corrupted blobs of a strange black substance littered the ground.

"Ink?!" Error called again.

"Error," A voice came from behind them, clear and emotionless, cutting through the screams. They both turned around. Ink stood behind them, her eyes were a clear white and her face was emotionless. "What do you want?" She asked coldly.

"Ink I-I came for you," Error said. Ink tilted her head slightly.

"Why? Because you love me?" He opened his mouth to answer and closed it. "I think I loved you too. But I don't anymore. It's our time for darkness." She pulled out her brush and stared at him. "Get out."
