Dream walked through the garden smiling to herself. A hand fell on her shoulder and she jumped, turning around. Nightmare stood there his face serious.

"Dream can I talk to you in private?" She nodded and followed him back inside. He entered an empty room and turned to her.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I went to your room this morning," He began. Dream paled. "There was no one there so I went to ask Killer if he'd seen you." Her eyes widened. He frowned at her. "Seriously Dream?" Her face flushed red.

"You can't talk! Don't act like you're not doing the same thing!" She argued.

"I don't have a perfect kingdom and I can't get pregnant if I'm not careful!"

"No, but Cross can!" Dream covered her mouth. Nightmare froze.

"What?" She shook her head. "Dream, what do you mean?" He shook her shoulders. "Dream!" Dream's eyes teared up.

"Cross is pregnant." Nightmare's face was paralysed in shock.

"Why...Why didn't she tell me?"

"She's scared."

"Of me?" Dream shook her head.

"You're a king. She knows you can't marry her. She asked me to take her to my kingdom so you won't have to deal with a bastard child." Nightmare frowned, his jaw tight.

"That's why..."

"Why what?" Nightmare shook his head.

"I've got to go. Just..." He looked back at Dream. "Be careful. You remember what happened last time." Dream nodded and Nightmare left.

Blue whooped as she managed the multiple bone attack. Dust grabbed her from behind and lifted her up into his arms.

"I'm so proud of my Bluey!" He said, nuzzling her neck. Blue giggled.

"Let me go!" She cried.

"Nope! This deserves a reward!" Blue looked up at him.

"What reward?" She asked. Dust smirked.

"I take requests~"

"Oh~

Killer stood in his room polishing his knife when Dream came in.

"Dream?" He asked, putting his knife down and standing up. Dream rushed into his arms.

"I-I told Nightmare about Cross," She lamented. Killer pet her hair softly.

"Shhh, it's ok. They'll know what to do." Dream shook her head.

"There's another thing." She looked up at him. He raised an eyebrow. "Nightmare knows about us." Killer closed his eyes.

"He's going to kill me," He groaned. Dream laughed shakily.

"He looked more likely to kill me." Killer laughed too, kissing her on the head.

"Well we'll just have to enjoy our last moments won't we." Dream smiled weakly.

"Yeah... our last moments..."

Error sat atop a tree, looking around. A cry came from below.

"Error! How the hell am I supposed to get up there?!" He looked down. Ink stood there, hands on her hips and wind blowing through her hair. Error raised a hand and a string wrapped around her wrist. She paled. "Error no-" She screamed as she was pulled up to the tree branch and she closed her eyes in fear. He chuckled and pulled her closer to him.

"I thought you'd be used to this by now," He snickered.

"No!"

"Poor Inky~"

"Shut up!"

Cross sat with her knees to her chest, crying. An arm snaked around her waist and her chin was pulled upwards to meet Nightmare's lips.

"Crossy, why didn't you tell me?" Cross crumpled into his arms and wept.

"I-I'm sorry!" She sobbed.

"Did you really think a child would matter to me?" She looked at him.

"You know nothing can come of this! You can't marry me! I can't stay!" He silenced her with a kiss.

"Why can't I marry you?" He asked. "I'm the king. The king of the Dark Realm no less. What's really expected of me?"

"Nightmare..."

"Crossy I want to marry you."

"Nightmare."

"Is that a yes?" He asked. She giggled.

"That's barely a proposal!" He grinned.

"Would you rather I call the entire city to the castle and make it public?"

"NO! NO! Just... um... Yes, that's a yes." He kissed her.

"Good. I love you Crossy."

"Love you too Nighty." They sat in silence for a while. Cross leaning on his chest and Nightmare held her close to his chest.

"So? What are we gonna call him?"

"Hey! It could be a her!"

"But it might be a he!"

"NIGHTMARE!"
