Killer walked out into the ruined city, watching for Dream. He could feel her and she could most definitely feel him.

"Dream?" He called. There was no answer. "Dream?" He called again.

"Who are you?" Killer turned around. Dream stood behind him, stood not floated.

"Dream?" He asked.

"Who are you?" Dream asked again.

"Dream, don't you remember me?" Dream shook her head.

"Who are you? You've been haunting me. Are you going to kill me?" Killer shook his head.

"No Dream. Don't you remember going to the Dark Realm, talking to your brother, finding those missing people... me."

"Who are you?!"

"My name is Killer. Don't you remember?" Dream blinked. Her eyes cleared.

"Killer?" She asked. "What are you doing here? Why can't I remember anything?!" She was breathing hard and her eyes were wide. Killer brought her into his arms and whispered comforting words in her ears. She relaxed in his arms and went limp, resting her head against his chest.

"Dreamy?" He asked. Her breathing was slow and untroubled. She was asleep. Killer picked her up in his arms, smiling.

"What are you doing with our friend?" Killer turned around. Ink and Blue stood behind them, holding their weapons threateningly.

"I-" Blue fell to the ground with a cry. Ink turned around to find Error and Dust behind her.

"We need to separate Dream from the rest." Killer turned to find Nightmare behind him. "Dream's their leader without her they're hopelessly lost." Killer nodded and turned away following Nightmare away from the other two. The sounds of fighting sounded behind them as they walked away. Neither of them looked back.

"Bluey! Stop fighting!" Dust yelled, dodging another bone and ducking under a stray splash of paint from Ink.

"Stop calling me that!" She yelled. "I'm not yours!" Dust stumbled in his defence, hurt. A bone slashed his cheek and he winced. "Hit ya!" She teased. Dust held his slashed face.

"Bluey, it hurts," He whispered. She faltered for a bit. He shot forward and threw her to the ground, holding her down with a bone in her sleeve. Quickly, he stabbed a dozen more in her clothing, pinning her to the ground, and held another to her throat.

"Let me go!" She screamed. Ink moved to help her but Error blocked her.

"No way. I wanna be a teasing asshole." He grinned. She froze.

"You wha-" Dust leant down and kissed her. He held the bone above her chest and held her down by the shoulder with the other. He broke apart and she stared at him like she'd just awoken from a very long sleep.

"Dust can you stop making out with your girlfriend and help me?!" Error cried, avoiding Ink. Dust sighed.

"Sorry, Bluey." He hit her in the head with the blunt end of the bone and she fell limp, knocked out.

"Dust is a dick," Error thought as he trapped Ink in a cage of strings and moved to get her. She broke out of the cage and slashed out with red paint. Error dodged it and frowned. "Ink why are you fighting?"

"I'm sick of being afraid. Always afraid, always trying not to be afraid. Now I'm not afraid and you want to take it away from me," She answered, running at him.

"You don't feel anything! How is that a win?!"

"Nothing is better than everything when it comes to emotions!"

"What the hell made you think that?!" Suddenly Error realised. He trapped her in his strings and pulled her up a ruined building. Her eyes widened.

"What are you doing?" He reached the top of the building and pulled her into his arms. She struggled.

"Let me go."

"Are you afraid?" He asked. Her eyes narrowed.

"No."

"Look down." She looked down and her face paled. "Afraid?" She hid her face in his chest.

"Get me down from here!" She whined. Error smiled.

"Inky?" He asked cautiously.

"Error get me down from here!" She yelled. Error lowered them down to the ground and she let him go. She blinked. "Error? Did I hurt you?" Error shook his head.

"No."

"Liar."

"Listen I need to get you out of here so we can help you."

"I-I-" Ink gulped. "Ok." Error took her hand.

"Come on, let's go."

The three girls lay sleeping together, Dream slightly separate from the others.

"What do we do now Night?" Horror asked.

"We need to separate Dream from the rest," Nightmare began. "So we'll take Dream first then the rest of you can follow with the other two." The gang nodded and returned to their sleeping bags. Killer knelt next to Dream and felt her cold cheek.

"Kills?" He turned around. Nightmare was watching him.

"What is it?" Killer asked.

"Do you love my sister?" Nightmare asked.

"Yes," Killer answered without hesitation. Nightmare nodded.

"Good luck."
