The mad titan began to glare at himself in the polished metal that displayed his reflection, still grief-stricken over his decision to murder his own daughter for the sake of the Soul Stone. This mirror was a rare item that he somehow found on the grounds of the planet, seemingly abandoned by whoever used to own it. Believing that it could be useful, Thanos picked it up for himself and it became his.
All of Thanos' children were dead, and so were half of the universe. He felt contented, knowing that he had extinguished all of the heroes who tried to defy his cherished scheme. But at the same time, this glory that he was feeling wouldn't have been with him if it weren't for the death of his beloved daughter Gamora. He frowned again, still fabricating a world inside of his head where Gamora was still alive and obeying his orders. He began to wish that he sent someone else to look for the Soul Stone instead of her, maybe even Nebula or his other children.
"Awww, look!" a familiar, mischievous voice ran through Thanos' ears. "The oh-so-great mad titan, who defeated the Avengers, is now going to whine and bawl like a baby that came out from his mother's womb!"
Thanos, who knew for sure that he knew who that voice belonged to, flinched when he saw that his reflection had changed. There was no way... absolutely no way that this could be him. He was still there, but he was blocked by another figure with long, raven black hair and jade green eyes. No way... This man was... It couldn't have been anyone else. This was Loki Odinson, the former infinity king, who Thanos had decided to kill so that he could collect every last one of the infinity stones.
"Did you miss me?" Loki questioned him.
Then, Loki slowly began reaching his hands out to Thanos, passing through the mirror as if it was just liquid. Thanos was clearly able to see the marks on Loki's neck, as well as the fact that he was tilting his head sidewards to tell Thanos that his neck was broken. There was blood pouring down from his eyes, his nose, and even his mouth.
He wore his signature mischievous smile, except this time, he wasn't even playing around. He was wearing that smile not because he was playing another prank on his brother, but because he felt glad to scare the mad titan off like this.
"Die. Just die." Loki said to Thanos. "If half of the universe is dead, why are you still alive, hm? You have no right to breathe air just like the remaining survivors of the infinity war do. You killed your own daughter, and you are the cause of your children's death. All of them. So why bother to keep on breathing? Strangle yourself and snap your neck in half, just like you have done to me!"
"Shut up, Loki!" Thanos shouted. "You're a ghost! You have no right to talk!"
"I do what I want, you lunatic. What made you think you deserve to live? You should just take your own life, and cease to exist. In the end, there's no one there for you. You are going to die alone!"
Loki expanded both of his arms forward, his haggard grasp leisurely reaching towards Thanos' throat. As soon as his palm came in contact with the side of the mad titan's neck, Loki began to squeeze his nape as much as he could. Being a spirit, there was nothing he could do, but he clearly hoped for Thanos to be pushed into committing suicide. After all, the mad titan was frozen in fear.
Then, Thanos felt hands clutching to his ankles. He looked down onto the ground, and was stunned with the sight he was seeing. Reaching out to him from the ground was Gamora, her lower body not visible to one's eye. Her dark green blood was running down from her head, the wound from her fall still engraved on her skull.
"Daughter...!" Thanos gasped, almost having the urge to reach out to the former assassin.
"I am not your daughter." Gamora taunted him. "And you were never my father. In the end, this is the result. Like always, you are left alone with no one beside you. Because of what you have done, you are alone."
