"Okay, first of all, what are we doing here?" Brunnhilde questioned Thor, who was looking as confident as ever.
We were standing somewhere outside of a school gate. And not just any school gate; but the school gate of the school that Parker goes to. Parker—who was wearing his Spider-Man suit—was just as stunned as everyone else was. It was actually Thor's idea for all of us to be wearing our superhero armors.
"And set!"
From behind my back, I could hear Loki's cheerful exclamation echoing as if he just finished an enormous accomplishment.
"What is it, Loki?" asked Quill. "Why do you sound so happy?"
"Oh, nothing." Loki responded. "I just made Parker's illusion go to the bathroom, so that Net won't be suspicious that he's just an illusion I made when the real Parker comes in as Spider-Man."
"So, you're aware of what Thor is planning to do?" Pietro asked. "What is it? Tell us, please."
"Isn't it obvious?" Loki questioned him. "You see, many people from Parker's school love superheroes. Thor is planning to make an army to battle against Thaddeus Ross."
Hm, I see. Thor, I underestimated you... again. I was being sulky and believed that there was no way destiny could be changed anymore, but you are at it again.
Perhaps it would be better for me to try this time. A marvel wouldn't happen if not everyone cooperates with each other. At least that's what my friends keep on saying to me.
"Strange, are you going to come with us?" I heard Thor's deep, brooding voice. "This time around?"
When I looked up, it turned out Thor and the others were already beside the entrance of the school gate, the guard allowing them to make their entrance.
"It wouldn't hurt to try, I suppose" I said to them. "We might really be able to change destiny this time."
"Now that is the spirit!" Bruce told me with a smile. "See? I told you we could do it!"
"So, kid..." Thor looked over to Parker. "What class are they taking right now?"
"Hmm..." Parker rolled up the sleeve of his gray jacket and looked at his watch. "It's gym class."
"Loki, are you sure you didn't get the illusion of Parker stranded?" Thor asked him. "I'm not sure if you know where the bathroom is..."
"Oh, don't worry." Parker said to Thor. "I already showed him a tour of the school. Psychologically. He already memorized it! ...Haven't you, Mr. Loki?"
"Hahaha... Of course I have." Loki responded. "I remember every nook and cranny."
"Strange." Thor looked over to me. "We might need your portal magic today. Can you help us out?"
I smiled at him. "I have no problem with that."
Using confidence and trust as our weapons, we entered the school premises to gather our army.
-oooooo-
"Listen to me, everyone!"
It was amazing that Thor somehow managed to get the Asgardians, Wakandans, S.H.I.E.L.D, Master of the Mystic Arts, Skrulls, and even the people from Parker's school to be on our side. On top of that, he had Scott's family as well as Clint's to help us in this debate that he apparently calls a 'battle'.
We were talking in Wakanda, where I was forced to use my powers to take them to. He didn't really tell them what was going on yet. He just told them to follow me here to Wakanda. Normally, people wouldn't trust random people telling them to go here or to go there. However, considering how this man was Thor Odinson, they obviously couldn't stop themselves from following.
