Chapter 2 - The Next Day

Alec had finished talking with Magnus the night before and went home to sleep off the alcohol. After that the next day he went to class and gave the info that he got from Magnus to Annalise.

Annalise: Where did you get all this information

Alec: Something that my father told me to do is never reveal your sources unless in the courtroom

Annalise: Take a seat good work Mr. Lightwood

Alec takes his seat.

Annalise: Okay, I have chosen the 6 best students to work with me if your name is called come to the front first the student who wins the trophy Alexander Lightwood

Alec comes down and stands next to her.

Annalise: Connor Walsh

Connor comes down and stands next to her.

Annalise: Wes Gibbins

Wes comes down and stands next to her.

Annalise: Asher Millstone

Asher comes down and stands next to her.

Annalise: Laurel Castillo

Laurel comes down and stands next to her.

Annalise: And Lastly Michaela Pratt

Michaela comes down and stands next to her.

Annalise: The rest of you guys can go home and I will see you all later

Alec, Connor, Wes, Laurel, Michaela, Asher and Annalise head to Annalise's office or home and they start to work on a case of a Muslim who was accused of killing her wife and was on the bridge of being deported back to Iran while working on a case all of his friends ask him a question.

Connor: Hey Alec

Alec: Yeah

Connor: How did you get the information about the aspirin killer

Alec: I rather not say that because my father told me never tell anyone where your sources unless a judge asks you

Asher Millstone: Then how come I saw you at a bar yesterday talking to some man and then staring at another man so is the man you were talking to your boyfriend

Alec: I don't do boyfriends

Laurel Castillo: Wait you're Gay

Alec: Look can we drop about my Sexuality and work on this case

Michaela Pratt: Sure, Hey guys it looks like there is something in here she made a phone call but we don't know to who

Alec: I will try and find out and tell you if I find anything tomorrow

Laurel: Alright, see you later Alec

While Alec heads outside everyone follows him and sees him make a phone call

*Phone Call*

Alec: Hey Magnus, It's Alec Lightwood

Magnus: Oh Hey Alexander what's up

Alec: I was wondering if you could help me with something

Magnus: Oh Okay after you left last night I thought I wouldn't hear from you again, but yeah meet me at my apartment

Alec: Alright see you then, bye

Magnus: Bye
