Chapter 29 - I Love You And Our Family That's Growing

It has been several weeks since Magnus and Alec started trying to have another baby, Today Magnus was going to take a pregnancy test to see if all their trying worked and this time Alec was going to be with Magnus when they find out so he isn't out of the house when the result came in. Magnus heads into the bathroom to take the test and then comes out into the bedroom and sits on the bed with Alec.

Magnus: So you think all of our hard work paid off and we are going to have another baby

Alec: I hope so and if you are pregnant we will have to tell Alexa

Magnus: And your siblings, and we know this time to tell Isabelle first because then she will kill us if she is the last one to know about this baby too

Alec: Yeah, but it is a good thing that Alexa is at school and then is going to a friends house for a playdate, this way if you are pregnant we can figure out how to tell her and we can tell everyone else too

Magnus: Yeah

*Five Minutes Later*

*Beep Beep*

Magnus leans over to the night stand and picks up the test and hides the screen so both of them can see if he is pregnant. Alec and Magnus look at the test.

Magnus: It says I'm pregnant

Alec: Oh, WOW we are having another kid

Magnus: I guess we should tell your family and mine too

Alec: Yeah

Magnus: I love you Alec

Alec: I love you too Magnus and our growing family, so how far along are you

Magnus: It looks like 3 weeks

Alec: I love you so much

Magnus: i love you too, Kiss me

Alec: That is something I will do no matter what

Magnus and Alec spend the whole day calling their friends and family and then wait for Alexa to come home to tell her that she is going to be a big sister. Alexa comes home and runs into Alec's arms.

Alec: Hey baby girl

Alexa: Hey daddy

Alec: How was your playdate with your friend

Alexa: It was great I had so much fun

Alec: That's good hey your papa and I want to tell you something

Alexa: Okay

Alec and Alexa head over to the living room couch and sit down next to Magnus.

Alec: So your papa and I have something very important to tell you

Alexa: Okay what is that

Magnus: We want to tell you that you are going to be a big sister

Alexa: I am gonna be a big sister

Alec: Yeah, and you will be the best big sister ever

Magnus: I agree with your dad on that one you will be the best big sister ever

Alexa: I can't wait to be a big sister

Alec: Alright, big sister how about you go get ready for bed

Alexa: Okay daddy

Alexa runs to her bedroom and gets ready for bed and then runs out and gives her daddy and papa a big hug and kiss good night. Magnus and Alec start talking.

Magnus: She took that a lot better than I thought

Alec: Yeah she did

Magnus: It's is cute how she is so excited to be a big sister

Alec: Yeah, I love you and our little family that's growing

Magnus: I do too

Alec gives Magnus a kiss and both of them head into their bedroom and head to bed, this time around Alec is not so scared because he knows he will be a good dad because he had so much experience with Alexa and loved spending time with Magnus and Alexa after she was born.
