Joanna was satisfied with how their conversation went, she found out the name of the 'mystery' guy she had been talking to.

Tom.

Although he could be lying to her completely, she really hoped not. He was her age. They could totally be really good friends if he didn't live across the world. But then again so did Harrison and they still made it work. Speaking of Harrison, he said that he'd see her soon. She needed to call him as see how soon so that she could get the extra room set up for him.

She opened her phone app and dialed the number that she knew by heart, because of how many times she's called him. On the third ring he picked up.

"What's up hoe?" Joanna said before Harrison even had a chance to talk
"Hey slut" he answered
"First question, when are you coming down so I can get your room ready" she asked
"Umm" he pretended to think for a second, "I got a flight for this Sunday so you have 3 days to get prepared"
"Okay good, please tell me you're staying for at least a week" she pleaded
"It's a one way ticket so I'll stay for as long as I'm welcome"
"You know you're always welcome H, you can stay for as long as you want. But you gotta buy me coffee when you get here." Joanna answered
"Jo, you have more than enough money for coffee. Why do you need me to buy you some?" He questioned
"Okay so I kinda splurged and got a pool installed." She said really fast hoping he wouldn't hear what she said.
"You what! How- you know what I'm not even gonna ask. Okay I'll buy you coffee but you're paying me back." He reasoned with her.
"Yeah okay, I get paid again on Monday from the photo shoot I did the other day. I'll buy you lunch" She replied, rolling her eyes even though she knew Haz couldn't see her.
"Okay good, was there another point to this conversation or was that the only question you had? I have to go to a few meetings soon."
"There was but I can text you about it so you can get ready to leave" Jo said back
"Is that okay? If not I can reschedule so we can talk" he asked concerned
"No no no, you don't need to do that. It's not important" she laughed "it's just more progress on my nonexistent love life"
"Oh okay, I'll talk to you later Jojo"
"Alright H, love you"
"Love you too"

Harrison hung up the phone, leaving Jo bored out of her mind. It was different when she lived in London and she could hang out with him all the time but when Joanna got offered a modeling job, she couldn't refuse it. So she packed up and moved to California, halfway across the world.

They still called, texted, or even facetimed everyday, but it was still rough. They were best friends, they tried dating a while back but decided that it was best that they stayed friends. There was no doubt that Harrison and Joanna still loved each other, but just not in the way they thought.

She looked at the time and it said 2am, how she wasted most of her day, she didn't know. Considering she had nothing better to do, Joanna turned on Hulu and continued to watch Shadowhunters until she fell asleep.
