Joanna and the boys ended up going shopping after they ate their breakfast. Inside the mall, they split up. Tom told her that she should dress casual so she was looking for something that she could wear.
She walked into a random store and looked around until she found a pair of shorts that she liked. They were shorter than she was use to but when she tried them on, she loved how they looked.
Jo looked around a little and found a cropped jean jacket, in her head she was thinking of something that she could wear under it. She settled on some kind of bralette, so she spent the next hour looking for a really cute one.
She ended up buying way more things than she first planned to but she found a really cute black lace strapless bralette and fell in love with it. Once Jo was finished shopping she walked to the Starbucks that they had in the mall and ordered a vanilla bean frappe with extra whipped cream.
Haz snuck up behind her and took a drink from the straw causing him to get a smack on the head from Jo.
"Hey!" He said rubbing his head where she had just smacked him.
"Hey nothing, don't drink my stuff!!" just as she was yelling at Harrison for drinking it, Tom was taking a drink also.
"Hey! Oh it's just you, here" she handed Tom her drink.
"What the fuck! I get yelled at but you just give it to him!" Haz complained crossing his arms.
"Yep." Jo said back shrugging her shoulders.
"Whatever, are you ready?" He asked.
Tom looked over at Jo waiting for her response.
"Yeah, I'm good let's go home it's already 3pm."
They left the mall and drove home, traffic was horrible so it took them around 30 minutes to get home. As soon as they got home, Jo got out of the car and ran inside. Haz was confused, while Tom just laughed at her. The two boys went inside also.
Jo quickly took a shower mainly because she needed to shave and wash her hair. She got out in 20 minutes, which is probably the quickest she ever has. The clothes she was gonna wear were already picked out so she didn't have to worry about that.
She blow dried her hair so that she had longer time to curl her hair. After she was finished with her hair she moved on to makeup. It was a neutral brown smokey eye, lashes, and mascara. Jo then unwrapped her towel from around her and slipped her clothes on.
She must've lost track of time, because before she knew it, Tom knocked on her door.
"Hey To- woah you look good" Jo couldn't even finish her sentence.
"Thanks love, you look amazing Anna" Tom said back to her, making a blush appear on her cheeks.
Hearing him call her Anna in person was enough to make her heart flutter. Out of everyone in her life, no one has ever called her Anna. Having a nickname that belonged to just him was great.
"Are you ready to go?" Tom asked her.
"Yeah lets go." Jo replied smiling up at him.
Their night consisted of them going to dinner first so that they wouldn't have to spend a ton of money on snacks at the movie theater.
Tom insisted that they go to a small diner down the street from the theater, because it had really good fries. And he knew that was her favorite food from one of their late night conversations.
Later they went and saw Detective Pikachu because they were both wanting to watch it really bad.
By the end of the movie they both decided they weren't ready to go home yet so they just went for a walk. So far their date was going amazing and it seemed like nothing could ruin it.
Tom grabbed Jo's hand and intertwined their fingers. Jo looked at their hands and then up at Tom to find him already looking down at her. It was already dark so they could see the stars perfectly.
"Hey Tommy?" Jo whispered.
"Yeah, love?" He answered.
"I uh, I need to tell you something." She spoke up a little more.
"You can tell me anything" Tom reassured her.
"Yeah, I know. Okay here it goes, I'm in like with you...wait that's not what I meant. I meant I like you, a lot" she laughed nervously at her mess up.
"That's good then, because I'm in like with you too, darling." He chuckled and gripped her hand tighter.
"I don't want this date to end but I'm kind of getting tired" Jo said yawning afterwards.
"Me too, it's okay. Go get coffee with me tomorrow" Tom requested.
"Okay, what time?" She asked.
"Is 9am okay?" He asked back.
"9am is perfect." She smiled.
Still holding hands, they start to walk back to Jo's house. The park that they were at was already pretty close so they only had about 10 minutes to get there. Those 10 minutes felt like seconds to them, soon enough they were in front of her house.
Tom really wanted to kiss her but he didn't want her to feel like he was trying to rush things.
"What are you thinking about?" Jo asked Tom.
"How much I really want to kiss you right now." He said looking at her eyes.
"Well, what's stopping you?" She questioned, taking a step towards him.
"Most girls don't kiss on the first date.." he hesitated but took a step towards her too.
"I'm not most girls, Tommy" she whispered again and closed the gap between them pressing their lips together.
It continued for about 30 more seconds before they finally separated.
"Wow" they both said at the same, their foreheads still pressed together.
They smiled and stepped apart completely, "Thank you for such an amazing date Tommy." Jo smiled.
"Anytime, love" he smiled back at her.
They both walked inside, and went towards their rooms and told each other good nights. Before Jo closed her door, Tom went to her and kissed her one last time. She shut the door and walked over to her bed and flipped backwards on it, letting out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
