Chapter 9

Danielle's POV

"Good Morning sleepy head." A soothing angelic husky voice woke me up. Then I realized who was the owner of that beloved voice. Alex. And then I noticed that my arms were entangled around his body. Oh snap! How could I forget! I forgot that I slept... up in the tree... With him! Him as in Alex Andrew him! Wow, just wow. And here comes the blushing part. For sure my face turned strawberry red! this is just embarrassing...

"Good morning. How'd you sleep?" I asked shyly forming a smile on my face, lifting my head to face his, since my head was placed somewhere below his chest. 5 words: HE IS SO DARN PERFECT.

His messy dark brown hair, which seemed to turn light brown was giving him this cute bad boy look. And wow. Those eyes, those deep brown eyes that somehow, it showed happiness and love. And as I was under his chest, I could feel him breathing, symbolizing he's alive. Breathing and alive with me on this beautiful Sycamore tree.

"Never better." He replied as he chuckled. My heart skipped a beat. "Never Better" does that mean he liked it? He actually liked to be with me the whole night in this tree. Nah, I don't want to keep my hopes high.

"How long have you been awake? And what time is it?" I asked changing the subject. I still didn't move from my position. I just hope that he isn't uncomfortable.

"Hmmmm... Its 6:30" he said as he checked his watch. "And I was awake for the past 30 minutes. I never thought how innocent looking you are when you're asleep." He continued.

Classes does not start till 8:00. Wait, what? Meaning he was staring at me for the past 30 minutes? Here it comes again. I am so hating my brain right now. I mean seriously? Stop turning my cheeks to strawberry red! Ughh...

"Are you serious? But its still so early!" I told him and I sounded like a spoiled brat... for sure.

"Well, Ms. Grumpy. The reason why I woke you up so early was because we still have to go back to our houses and you would not want to be late, would you?" He has a point though.

"Fine. You win. But only this time!" I replied to him and stuck my tongue out.

"Come on Ms. Grumpy. Let's go." he said teasingly.

As we went to my house Alex said that he has to go to his house to take a shower and get dressed.

As I was taking my own shower, I can't stop smiling like an idiot. I kept on smiling at the fact that I slept with Alex Andrews... up in the tree! It was the best feeling in the entire universe. I meant come on! That doesn't happen everyday. Alex might dated a few girls, but please, I had the most romantic night with him! Take that girls! Ha!

After putting on my outfit which was a black and blue checkered blouse, skinny jeans and my snickers, I heard a knock from my door. It is probably him, he did told me on the way to my house that he will bring me to school with him.

As I was rushing to go answer the door, my phone from my pants' pocket buzzed.. It was a text message from Jenna.

The message says: Where were you yesterday? We were worried about you... Please reply ASAP. God Bless you sweetie :).

Awww aren't they sweet?! I replied with this: Hey! Thanks for being worried about me. I appreciate it. Anyways, I am fine, thank you :) I will explain later, same place :D God Bless you too. See ya! xoxo. I replied before opening the door which as soon as I opened it... An angel appeared right in front of me.
