Chapter 10

Danielle's POV

As we were walking down the hallway, I couldn't stop feeling insecure. Everyone was looking at us like they just saw a miracle. Even my fellow geeks were to shocked of what beholds their eyes. Not only because I was walking with Alex, but also because his arms were at my shoulders.

"Don't mind them. They are humans too, so that would definitely be their reaction, especially if they have seen us walking together for once in our lives." He whispered to me as if he felt my nervousness. His whisper sent chills from my ears down to my spine. Wow, he really is an angel.

As we entered the classroom, everyone stared at us with their mouths nearly dropped down to the floor. It was so silent, then a few minutes later, after me and Alex sat at two chairs which were together, people started whispering. Wow, gossipers. I mean gossiping is what lame people do, they only gossip because they have no idea what they're gonna do with their life so they mess with other's. Very stupid.

Time flew so past that it was already time for lunch.

Alex walked me to every class. Literally every class. I mean sure, he has every class with me, but he follows me like he is a lost puppy.

When we were already in the canteen I was trying to find my friends. I spotted them at the place where we usually sit. As I was about to go to them Alex grabbed my arm.

"Hey! What gives?!" I asked him in an almost shouting way.

"Where are you going to eat?" he asked in a manner like he didn't mind if I almost yelled at him.

"With my friends silly." I replied as I gestured my arm towards the place where they were sitting.

"Can I come with you? Please?" he asked me pleadingly. You know those people who does those "puppy eyes" so that you will pity them. That is exactly what he is doing right now. And if Alex Andrews wants something, he gets it immediately and no more excuses would come out of your mouth.

After a long pause, I finally replied "Sure. I'll introduce you to my friends."

"Hey pretty ladies!" I greeted them. It seemed like they didn't notice me at all. What are they so fantasized about? Suddenly I heard a chuckle from behind me. Oh ya! Right! I was standing their with my bully. Or maybe he was just to handsome.

"Oh ya right, my bad. Where are my manners? Do I really have to introduce him to you guys? I mean everyone does know him. Do I really have to-" that was when I noticed that no one was paying any attention to me, they were all too busy staring at the angel behind me. And that was when I started waving my hands close enough in front of their faces making them blink and made them realize my presence.

"Oh sorry Danielle, we were just to shocked to see an angel... I meant Alex up this close." Bea finally spoke. The two other girls are still dumb-founded. Pshh, girls. I never understood my gender.

"As I was saying. This is Alex. I know it sounds so stupid since everyone knows him for Pete's sake! But I am introducing him as a new friend." I was finally able to speak without them staring at this angel beside me.

"Hey girls. You must be Jenna," he says as he pointed out to Jenna, Jenna mouthed out a small 'Hello' but not a single voice of her came out. "You must be Bea," he says pointing to Bea and Bea giving him a small wave, making him chuckle. "And you. You must be Lara." he finally pointed out on Lara. Lara only managed to form a small smile.
