"I won't! I won't be in Slytherin!"

"James, give it a rest!" said Ginny

"I only said he might be" said James, grinning at his younger brother. "There's nothing wrong with that. He might be in Slyth-"

But James caught his mother's eye and fell silent. The five Potters approached the barrier while James gave  a slightly cocky look over Lily and Albus, took the trolley from his mother and broke into a run. A moment later, he had vanished.

"You'll write to us, won't you?" lily asked, looking at her nervously shaking twin brother with concern. "Every day,if you want us to' said Ginny

"Not every day" said Albus quickly. 'James says most people get letters from home about once a month.'

"We wrote to James three times a week last year" Ginny said. "and you don't want to believe everything he tells you about Hogwarts" Harry put in. 'He likes a laugh, your brother.'

He took Lily's trolly before smiling reasurringly at her "now its quite easy,  just close your eyes and  run straight between eight and nine , okay lils?' Lily smiles up at her father before running towards the wall, keeping her eyes closed until she heard Albus come behind her and her parents too.

she opens her eyes slowly to see the platform nine and three quaters which was packed with boys and girls in robes and muggle clothes and parents waving to their children from the platform.

Thick, white steam that was pouring from the scarlet Hogwarts Express.
"Where are they?" Albus asked anxiously, peering at the hazy forms they passed as they made their way down the platform."we'll find them' Ginny said reassuringly.

"I think that's them, Al" Lily said excitedly, pointing at a group of four people emerged from the mist standing alongside the very last carriage.
Their faces only came into focus when Harry, Ginny, Lily and Albus had drawn right up to them.

"Hi' Lily and Albus said together, before smiling at each other. Rose who was already wearing her brand new Hogwarts robes' beamed at them both.
Albus noticed that she hadn't changed at all, the same bushy ginger hair, same dark brown eyes and the same analyzing look; well he had seen her last week so he couldn't really expect any change from her.

"I can't believe that we are finally going to Hogwarts" Rose said, looking a little breathless, Lily chuckled while nodding her head.
Hugo, Rose's younger brother was clinging to his mother while crying silently "Even I want to go" he whined again.
"And you will, soon" Hermoine told her grumbling son which seemed to light him up as he gave his mum a huge smile before saying happily

"I will be in Gryfindor like you and dad" while Hermoine smiled lightly before ruffling his ginger hair identical to his father.
"If you're not in Gryfindor, we'll disinherit you" Ron said
"But no pressure"
"Ron!"
Hugo and Rose laughed while Lily and Albus looked solemn.
Hermione, Ron, Ginny and Harry soon were in a deep conversation which none of the kids understood.
"He doesn't mean it" Lily told her twin, who was trying to hide his nervousness but still nodded his head.

Rose kept babbling about how she had read all kinds of books while she was quite nervous about the OWLs which seemed quite far away in Albus' and Lily's opinion.

"You won't believe what I just saw!"
James had reappeared, beaming widely and was evidently bursting with news.
"Teedy's back there" he said breathlessly, pointing back over his shoulder into the billowing clouds of steam. "Just seen him! And guess what he's doing? Snogging Victoire!"

He gazed up at the adults, obviously disappointed by the lack of reaction.
'Our Teddy! Teddy Lupin!Snogging our Victoire! Our cousin! And I asked Teddy what he was doing-"
"You interrupted them? said Ginny. "You are so like Ron-"
"and he said he had come to see her off and then he told me to go away! He's snogging her!" James added, as though worried he had not made himself clear.
"Oh it would be lovely if they got married!" Lily whispered to Albus
"Teddy would really be a part of the family then" Albus whispered back.

The adults simply chuckled and shook their heads, James looked at all of them with shock before storming away into the Express.
"Its nearly Eleven you'd better get on board too" Harry said finally, looking at his watch which had once belonged to Fabian Prewett.

"Don't forget to give Neville our love!" Ginny told Lily as she hugged her tightly.
"Mum! I can't give a professor love!"
"But you know Neville-"
Lily rolled her eyes
"Outside, yeah but at school he is Professor Longbottom, isn't he? I cant just walk into Herbology and give him love"
Shaking her head at her mother's foolishness but giving her a smile.
Lily was about to get on the train but then she turned around looking for Al and her dad to see then both in a deep conversation.

Lily smiled at the sight before her before saying "come on Al, we don't want to be late eh?"
Albus turned around to look at her before nodding her head, getting up and giving his dad a fleeting hug and then getting on the train too.
Lily gave a salute to her dad which he returned smiling at her before she moved inside the train with her brother.
The train began to move and Harry watched alongside it, watching his children's face, already in a blaze of excitement.
Not knowing what awaited them at Hogwarts.

Sorry for not updating for soo long.
Its just, I was down with viral fever; actually I still am so I am really sorry too If this chapter is crappy and short but I promise it gets better.
