THE GOLDEN MARAUDERS: THE FIRST HEIR

FIRST DAY AND BAD IMPRESSIONS

Albus and Scorpius knew they were quite late for their first class as they ran towards the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, receiving several shocked looks from the students who couldn't believe that they were seeing A Potter and Malfoy together.
And a Slytherin Potter.

Miracles indeed did happen.

"Malfoy, P-potter you're late!" The professor called out to them sternly just as they had yanked the door of the DADA room.
They mumbled their apologies before taking a seat at the last table as they avoided the stares there were being given, the stares that completely stated that those two looked the most mismatched combination ever.

Lily was staring at her brother and Scorpius as they hurriedly took out there books and quill, they both looked quite red and breathless. She tried to make eye contact with Albus but he continued staring at his quill, Rose cleared her throat beside her as she nudged Lily to turn back in her seat.
Trust Rose to drag her with her to the first seat, Lily thought as she focused her attention back on the Professor.

"Now that everyone one is finally here, we can start today's lesson then, I am Lorena Monroe but you may call me Professor Monroe and if I am aware of the colours of your houses then you all must be the Gryffindors and Slytherins" Professor Monroe grinned at the first years, some of who nodded their head enthusiastically while rest smiled uncertainly back at her, everyne except Albus of course.

He had no idea that his Defence Against The Dark Arts classes were supposed to be with Gryffindor, well alteast he had hoped that it wouldn't be with them. The house he would do anything to be in.
He looked up slowly, scanning the room for his twin and when his eyes did land on her, she was grinning at something Rose had whispered in her year. 
Both of them now suddenly looked a lot more like sisters with matching Gryffindor robes, which was the bright combination of red and gold. It suited Lily quite well, brought out her auburn hair but for some reason Albus thought that she would have looked better in Slytherin robes...

Yes, He was certainly going delusional. Guess the slytherin robes are having some effect on him after all. Albus shakes himself out of his absurd thoughts before looking back at Professor who was in a very deep speech about the history of Dark Arts.

"-and of course, your first years seem like a bright bunch" Professor Monroe eyes Lily and Rose before quickly glancing at Scorpius and Albus who was doing his best not to look at anyone but his quill.
"So I can always push you all a little and all you need to do is let yourself think as deep as possible as you are at Hogwarts after all" she chuckled to herself and picked up her wand from the table behind her
"Would any of you know any hexes or perhaps jinxes?" Just as the words left her mouth, Rose and Scorpius' hand shot up in the air.
Rose grinned widely, earning quite impressed stares from her fellow first years while Scorpius kept a straight one but inside, his stomach was doing every single muggle dance he had ever seen.
"Mr Malfoy, go on then" Professor Monroe smiled at him, earning an incredulous look from Rose as Lily snaps her head behind to look at the surprised blonde boy.

"Uh.. yeah- sorry, well there are quite a lot of complicated hexes but the most easiest one would be the disarming spell, Expelliarmus." He said, finally gaining his smooth tone.
Professor Monroe smiles at Scorpius before nodding her head
"That is quite right. Expelliarmus is one of the most basic and important spell a witch- or wizard should know and we will be learning many spells but first we should do a written summary about the different types of spells yeah?"
All the students seemed to like the idea, infact they all nodded their heads before taking out their quill and parchment.
"Didn't she see my hand, I mean was I invisible to her?" Rose grumbled, taking down the names of the spell they will be learning; Expelliarmus, Stupefy, Reducto, Bo-
"Maybe if you didn't hate him so much then you wouldn't hate every single thing he does, you know" Lily raised her eyebrows at her cousin who simply rolled her eyes.
"No Lily, I do not know nor do I wish to" this time it was lily's turn to roll her eyes
"And just look at Albus, it's like he has forgotten all about us and suddenly the Malfoy boy is all that matters" Rose rambled on but Lily wasn't listening anymore and she didn't for the rest of the class.
