THE GOLDEN MARAUDERS: THE FIRST HEIR

New Friends and some enemies

"Alright you two go ahead and look for a compartment, I just need to check on James once alright?"  Lily tells Albus and Rose before rushing away leaving those two looking after her confused. They both could several eyes on them, even though they were used to it being the children of the most influential people in the wizarding community. 

"Al. we need to concentrate" Rose spoke up finally, Albus looked at her with genuine confusion, noticing his expression, she sighed before continuing "On who we choose to be friends with.My mum and dad met your dad on their first Hogwarts Express you know.. whih means the friends we make here are the friends we will have forever like our parents" she stated. 

"That sounds quite scary, shouldn't we wait for lily?" Al muttered, causing Rose to roll her eyes. "you heard her, she told us to look for a compartment, she'll join us there so come on" she pulls Albus with her, not even giving him a chance to say anything before she opened a compartment door and introducing herself and her reluctant cousin.

"James Sirius Potter I've been looking for you literally everywhere and here you are in the last EVER compartment with your-" Lily stopped, looking a little breathless but still glaring at her brother who had his mouth stuffed with chocolates, He grinned at her cauing her to scowl a little. "you're smiling! I can't believe you" she says before taking a seat next to her cousin, Fred Weasley who was eating a Bertie Botts every flavor beans. 

"Gosh, nothing to be angry about here" Lysander Scamander says, who was seated next to her brother while his younger brother Lorcan sat on the other side James. Lily ignored him, looking at Lorcan "nervous?" she asked, smiling at him. He nodded his head slightly, he looked everything like his mother who also happend to be Lily's namesake. He had her dirty blonde hair, her silver blue-green eyes but he had got his father's analysing look. 

"well lily, now that you are here, I need to show you something" James grins at her little sister who looks at him curiously. He got up from his seat and motioned lily to do the same and she did. He pointed at the ceiling and at first Lily looked at him incredously before looking up to see "RL.PP.SB.JP" scribed. Lily stared at it for a while then at her brother and then at the others before speaking "Is that done by them?" James nodded, grinning widely. "by the orignal marauders" Lily shook her head, trying to clear it.

"Does dad know?" she asked. "Yeah , I told him about it when I first found it last year, he was quite emotional after that" he mused. Lily chuckled dryly, almost getting emotional herself. "well I should get going, I told Al and Rose to look for a compartment and now I feel guilty" James nodded as Lily turns to leave but then he calls out to her "see you out there sis" as lily gave him a huge smile before her dark red hair went out of view.

"How long are we going to do this Rose?" Albus grmbled when they came out of yet another compartment. "As long as we need, now come on" she says as she opens another compartment door which held only one boy with very familiar white blonde hair.

Rose was about to turn right away but then Albus stepped in, smiling at the blonde boy who smiled back at him . "Is this compartment-" Al asks but the boy says "No, its just me" 

"so you wouldn't mind if we come in for a bit" Al says, recieving a "you're crazy" look from Rose, "not at all" the boy says, still smiling. "I'm Albus.. Al ,most- people call me that" Albus stutters a little, his nervousness coming back. 

The boy smiled before saying "Hi Scorpius, I mean my name is Scorpius and you are?" he looks at Rose who was looing at him with steel col eyes. "Rose" she snaps but Scorpius didn't seem to notice it as he offered them several chocolates.

"yeah sure I'd like tha- OW Rose, will you quit kicking me" Albus says. "I am not hitting you"Rose mutters. "yes you are and it hurts"he argues. Scorpius finally seemed to have realized as his face dropped and he looked at both of them with a sad expression "she is hiting you becasue of me" he sighs deeply at Albus' confused face. "I am Scorpius Ma-malfoy, my parents are Astoria and Draco Malfoy. Our parents- they didn't get along" he says finally.

"that's putting it mildly, your mum and dad were death eaters!" Rose sneered at him. "Dad was, Mum wasn't but they have changed. Whatever they were, it was in the past" scorpius said helplessly and Al believed him, he believed in change and he knew that anyone could do it but Rose was having none of it.

"There is no way am I believing you after all that there is said about you, I think we are going to take another compartment, let's go Al." Rose said, getting up but Albus didn't, instead he looked at his cousin and said "I think I am going to stay here for a while" Rose looks at him, surprised but then she storms out of the compartment, leaving the other two boys looking uncertainly at each other.

"oh hey Rose, where's Al?" Lily caught Rose storming in the passage who looked at her "He is with that- that.. Ugh, see for yourself" she scoffed pointing at one of the compartment in the front and stormed away. Weird, Lily thought. She slid open the compartment door to see Al laughing loudly with a pale blonde boy, who she could've sworn she had seen before.

"oh hey lils, what took you so long?" Albus asks, chuckling as Lily takes her eyes off the blonde boy and on her brother. "sorry about that, who is your new friend Al?" she asks with raised eyebrows. "Hi, I am Scorpius-" with a second thought he added "-Malfoy" Lily nodded, she processed his name in her mind. Scorpius Malfoy as in Draco Malfoy and... 

"and that would explain Rose's behaviour" Lily mused. "well it's good to meet you Scorpius, I am Lily, Albus' twin" she smiled at him which he returned. Albus was quite happy to see Lily and Scorpius getting along and as for Rose.. well, guess they were making new friends after all.
