Late at night, in a cave among the Valley of Avalar, was a mother and father dragon anxiously awaiting the arrival of their hatchling. The single egg lays in a nest, protected by it's mother. It's father lays beside the nest, gaze locked on his hatching child. The mother was a lime green with golden horns. Father, a natural bark brown with black horns. Strangley enough, the egg was a bright pink with purple spots. The egg revealed a blue eyed, pink scaled, golden horned, purple frilled baby dragoness. She looked up to the male she would call father in awe. Immediately, the dragon is appauled. He stands and cringes at the infant dragon and exclaims his disgust, "What is that!? That creature isn't mine! It's pink!"
His mate looked to him and said, "How can you say that? Of course she's yours! I couldn't love anyone else other than you!"
The male growled, "That appauling development resembles my brother more than myself..!" He raised his claw and swatted the child across the cave so she landed head first into the cave wall, fracturing her skull and damaging a portion of her frontal lobe. Her mother came to her side, crying aloud, "My baby! My daughter!"
