The next morning, Ember emerged from her cave cover from torso to tail and all along her legs in deep, scabbing wounds. Her left horn was broken off so only half of it remained. Her frill that ran all along her spin was torn nearly to bits and the membrane in her wings was as well. She was treading towards a dragon who lied on the edge of a cliff. She knew this dragon very well, but he would not remember her... "Hello, brother..!" Hissed Ember.
The dragon turned his head and respectfully said to the young dragoness, "Brother? I don't remember you ma'am."
Ember circled around the boy and said in a evil tone of voice, "Of course you don't. My uncle, or for your instance, your father never wanted me around you. It's no wonder you don't remember me."
The dragon looked to the ground, trying to sort out his thoughts. "This makes no sense. My father told me I have no other siblings."
"Your uncle is my father, brother." She told him. "He is also my lover, for he is the only one who loves me."
The male came to his feet and began to step away from his cousin/sister, realizing just what she is implying. "You are sick! Don't ever talk to me or seek me out again!" He turned around and took to the skies as fast as he could.
Ember spoke him in a whisper as he flew away, "We'll meet again some day, my brother..."
