It was 2 weeks until the end of summer break and my dad had just told us to come downstairs for a family meeting
"Guys Your mother and I have something we have to share with you" my dad said with a smirk on his face.
This can't be good.
"You guys aren't having another baby are you? Cause jace is already driving me crazy." I sighed
"Hey!" Jace shot back
Hes my little 11 year old brother
"No, We're moving to North Carolina!" He Yelped
"WHAT?! NO! IM NOT MOVING THIS IS WHERE WE LIVE! TEXAS IS OUR HOME!" I shouted
"YEAH! WE CAN'T JUST LEAVE!" Jace spat
"Kids, I got offered a great job opportunity that will get us more money, plus I already bought our new house. It has a pool! Huh?" He said in a cheery tone.
"NO!!" I scream while tears run down my cheek.
I went ran upstairs not wanting to deal with my dad anymore and slammed my door.
I threw myself to my bed, curled up and started balling.
Millions of thoughts rushing through my head.
I can't believe it.
I love it here and I don't want to move.
My Best Friend Ashley lives here we've been friends since pre-k.
I'm not leaving. Im going to convince my dad to stay where we belong.

But my dad is super hard headed.
He probably won't even listen to me.
