Chapter 6

"As I said you are my mate... all werewolves have them and during the full moon...controlling our instincts is pretty.......difficult.

Kit just stared at him frozen.

First he was hallucinating werewolves and now said werewolf wanted to screw him.

Kit shook his head and looked over at his car which had perishables still in it. He hadn't been expecting his visit to the park would take more than 5-10 minutes.

"....I still have a hard time believing you are real and the whole mate thingy has totally thrown me for a loop.... But I need to get home and put things away."

Chance blinked at him in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"I just came from the grocery store and I got things to put away, like in the freezer?"

"Ah............ok.... Would I be able to come help you carry them?"

Kit looked at him in confusion as to why he would offer.

His hallucination was very kind he supposed.

"No.....I am ok...."

Chance frowned but did not push the matter.

"Can I at least get your number? That way I can prove I am real?" He chuckled.

"I don't get how that proves anything......................but I guess?" It was really confusing Kit how the man's eyes didn't really bother him anymore.

At first it had sent him reeling but it was like the more the man looked at him the less threatening he was.

His eyes did not give the same feeling as others did.

Chance chuckled as he pulled out his phone.

They exchanged numbers and the man smiled.

It confused Kit that they had exchanged numbers so suddenly since he still had no idea who the man was. But it was not like Kit knew how social interactions normally went. For all he knew exchanging phone numbers from the getgo was similar to telling one anothers names on the first meeting.

Chance had sat up while typing on his phone and the man loomed over Kits form, his shadow overmasking Kits own in the grass.

Kit held his own phone in his thin fingers in confusion.

He really had no idea what was going on.

Maybe..... He's real? Or am I seriously hallucinating? Werewolves? Well.....it's not like I would know if they were fake or not though, Kit thought in confusion.

Chance stood up while smiling and held out a hand to help Kit up.

Wincing he let the man pull him up effortlessly.

Chance chuckled at him.

"You feel like you weigh almost nothing at all, are you sure you are eating properly?" He asked in concern.

"I just said I came from the grocery store did I not?" Although technically he did his best to prolong not going in the first place by rationing his food.

"Mhmmm..." Chance nodded.

Kit slowly shrugged and was about to start walking to his car when he felt his heart jolt.

EYES, he mentally screamed as he doubled over.

Dimly he could see a couple jogging past the park up where his car was and they both were looking down at them.

"Kit!? Are you ok what's wrong?" Chance lifted up his arms, hovering them around Kit's small frame not touching him.

Kit felt his legs wobble as he panted, holding the front of his hoodie in his fist.

Chance came closer, his shadow over took the jogging couples sight and Kit felt their eyes disappear.

His body continued to shake.

Chance slowly wrapped his arms around Kit and stroked his hair he softly hummed as he did this.

"Its ok ....I am here I won't let anyone harm you mate...Kit I won't let anyone hurt you Kit."

"Eyes....thank you for getting.......*huff* rid of them." Kit whispered softly.

"Eyes? What do you mean?"

Kit shook his head into the man's chest.

"Did you.....want me to come home with you Kit? As I said I can help bring in your groceries if you want me to? Would that make you feel better?"

Kits body was still shaking and all he wanted to do was go home and curl up on his bed.

"No...I am ok..."

Chance gently squeezed his body but released him.
