Chapter 7: Out Of Control

Tessa POV
The Professor went to talk to Raph, Leo, and Casey. It's been a couple minutes and he hasn't returned. I sighed, rubbing my hands over my face. "It's okay, Tessa," I removed my hand from my face, seeing April standing in front of me with a smile. "Don't stress yourself over what happened, the Professor will deal with it," Donnie said as he walked next to April. "Thanks.." I muttered. April and Donnie walked around the bridge, talking to Mikey. I glanced at my hand, and noticed it was glowing white off and on like a broken light that's flickering. I took a deep breath, sighing. I stood up, walking to check up on the Professor. I heard some banging and yelling from mostly Raph, so I was getting worried. The door opened when I walked up to it, and I saw Raph and Leo kick an already on the ground Fugitoid into the wall. "Professor!" I said as I walked into the room, the glow around my hand not ceasing. The Professor looked up at me, which caused the two turtles to turn as well. "It's her again.." Raph muttered. "What's your problem with me?" I asked, tears running down my face as my hand started to glow. My eyes widened as I noticed it, using my other hand and placing it over my glowing hand. "Don't upset her," I heard the Professor say as he sat up. "Oh we won't upset her," Leo said with a grin. I looked at them, fear tainted on my face as my whole body started glowing, seeming to spark too. "Oh look, she's getting upset," Raph said with a laugh. Donnie and April raced in. "What's going—Tessa! Professor!" April yelled. Donnie went to assist the Professor, April standing in front of me. "Tessa, Stop! You need to control your power. Relax!" April said. "I can't—Its so hard to control.." I muttered. I noticed the Professor get up, along with Donnie. "Oh dear.." the professor muttered. "Oh no," Donne muttered. Leo and Raph stepped back. "Everyone please—Get away from me- I cant-I can't control it-AH!" I yelled. My eyes flashed dark blue as multiple large orbs appeared around me. "Go!" Donnie said as the the Professor followed Donnie out of the room. They paused when they turned to see April backed up against the wall. "Tessa-" April muttered. "April-I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!" I said, tears filling my eyes as the orbs fired and hit April, causing her to scream and fall to the ground. Leo and Raph were already gone. "APRIL!" Donnie yelled. Donnie ran and picked up April, running out with the Professor. Honeycutt turned around to face me, about to press something on his wrists. His eye screens were sad. "I'm so very sorry, Tessa," he said apologetically before pressing it. I watched as the ship went on lockdown, metal doors coming down over the original ones. My orbs appeared beside me and blasted a hole through the wall, a surprised Donnie looking at me. "PROFESSOR-" Donnie said before he yelled, one of my blasts hitting him and slamming him into the wall, making him drop April. "Tessa, you must control it!" The Professor said. "I-I'm trying!" I said as the Professor was lifted into the air. "AH-" he said in surprise. My eyes were completely white, but tears were pouring down my face. "I want to control it-I want to- but I can't-" I muttered. The Professor was thrown into the wall. Suddenly, my eyes went blue as the ship lurched, turning upside down as Donnie, April, and the Professor tumbled down to the roof of the Ulixes. I stayed up. I was now floating in mid-air. The ship shook, before it suddenly flipped over. I screamed as I grabbed my head. The pain in my head was unreal, it was a struggle to control it. I pulled my arms back, yelling in pain before I fell to the ground, my powers disabling. I wasn't knocked out, but I was too weak to move. I groaned, looking up to see Donnie and April knocked out. A couple minutes passed and I guessed the Professor put Donnie and April in the infirmaries. I then saw him kneel down in front of me, gently picking me up as he carried me and laid me down on the infirmary table. I blacked out by then. I woke up, and he was scanning over me. I groaned. "Do not fret, my dear, soon you'll feel 100%," he said. I sat up. "Are Donnie and April okay?" I asked. "They'll be alright," the Professor replied. I got up and began walking back to the bridge when I felt a sudden pain in the back of my head. Everything went black.
