A whopping month has passed. Everyone was still adjusting to everything that's happened. Tessa was unfortunately still in a coma, showing no signs of improvement or worsening. April was currently in the infirmary with her, Leo, Donnie, and the Professor in the bridge. April sighed. She wanted her best friend back. They'd gotten really close over a couple days. She didn't care that Tessa killed Casey or Raph, only because it wasn't her fault. It wasn't Raph or Leo's fault for acting that way either. They were being controlled. The Professor had already examined and trashed the chip, first making sure no one could find some way to repair it and put it to use again. Over the last couple weeks, they have been trying to find a way to save Tessa's home world. It seemed highly unlikely due to the impact and how unstable the planet had become. April looked at her best friend, who remained motionless on the infirmary table, the familiar beeping of the machines ringing in April's ears, threatening to drive her insane. "I hope you wake up soon.." April muttered. She knew there was little hope of her waking up. Somehow despite the horrific damage done to the poor girl's body, she was still alive, and fighting hard. April seemed to have stood there for at least another hour before walking back toward the bridge, taking one last glance at her friend. "Hey guys," she greeted as she entered the room. Donnie and Leo turned around quite quickly. "Hey April," Donnie said casually. Leo just nodded at her, acknowledging her presence. The Professor was busy pressing buttons and pulling things up on the control panel. April knew everyone has been busy over the last couple days, so they didn't pay much attention to her except for greeting her or something. Seemingly like she had no purpose standing there and staring, she began to walk back to the infirmary, being met with an amazing surprise. Tessa was sitting up on the table, her hands hovering over her stomach with a blue aura surrounding them. "Tessa!!" April exclaimed as she ran over to her friend, embracing her in a tight hug which Tessa gratefully accepted. "April!" Tessa exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. "How are you feeling?" April asked, glancing at the girl she couldn't believe was critically injured a month ago. "Much better. Thanks to my healing, I feel like nothing even happened," Tessa grinned. "Well, Leo is actually in the bridge. But he's alright now. We figured out why he was like he was," April said and watched as Tessa's expression turned to fear and nervousness, before seeming to relax. "What was causing it?" She asked. "Apparently someone on that strange planet we crash landed on stuck some mind controlling chip in Leo's neck. We got it out so don't worry," April said with a smile. Tessa was relieved as they entered the bridge, everyone turning around in alarm. Everyone looked surprised, along with a speck of relief. "Tessa!" Donnie said happily. "How are you feeling?" The Professor asked."A lot better. Once I woke up I used my self healing to fully heal the wound," Tessa explained, getting a nod from the Professor in response. Leo walked up to her, hands rubbing the back of his head. "I'm sorry about..almost killing you," He muttered guiltily. "It's fine. April filled me in on what happened," Tessa replied as she glanced over at her friend with a smile. "Speaking of what I did, I would say I'm glad you did that," Tessa abruptly spoke, earning surprised and shocked looks at her in response. "Why?" April asked. "Well, I did damage the Professor. Again. And I was about to kill you," Tessa said, glancing down and then at April. She glanced over to see the Professor place a hand on her shoulder. "It's not your fault! I understand you tend to lose control of your magic," the Professor said calmly. "It doesn't even matter if you kill me," the Professor added, everyone staring at him like he was crazy, including Tessa. "Well, I'm sure it would matter if I killed you! Like I killed Raph and Casey-" Tessa started, sounding like she was about to cry if it wasn't for April and Leo speaking up. "Don't stress yourself over that!" April said with a worried frown. "It wasn't your fault. Like the Professor said, you got upset," Leo said. Tessa sighed, before feeling multiple pairs of arms wrap around her. She glanced up, tears trickling down her face. She noticed the Professor, April, Donnie, and well, pretty much all of them, hugging her. In instinct, she wrapped her arms around all of them in return. It comforted her, and kept her from breaking down into tears. After that, everyone pulled away. "Well, it would only matter if you killed me on purpose. But you'd never do such a thing," the Fugitoid said, glancing at Tessa. April and Tessa seemed to slightly laugh at that, and soon everyone else had a laugh. "Don't blame yourself for what happened, Tessa," Donnie said gently. "It'll never be your fault," April added calmly, placing a hand on Tessa's shoulder. She sighed, glancing around with tired eyes at all of them. "Thank you. I'm so happy I met you all," Tessa said with a smile. "You should get some rest, Tessa," Leo said. Tessa nodded, waving to the small group before she headed to her room.
