April rubbed her head as she stood up. Glancing around, she noticed Leo standing ahead of her, sword in hand. He had hit her with the handle of the sword, not the blade luckily. If he had, she'd be dead. "Leo?" She asked, glancing every so often at the blocked exit, attempting to think of a way to escape. "Why are you doing this..?" April asked, her voice sounding more like a plead than a question. "Why? Because your friends with that monster," Leo said as he pointed to the motionless Tessa laying on the table. "Don't you dare touch her!" April growled, her eyes narrowing at the turtle she once thought of as a best friend. But she knew those days were long gone. "She also killed Raph!" Leo growled, starting to walk closer to April, forcing her to back away. "It wasn't her fault!" April exclaimed, trying to reason with him. She heard frantic yelling from Donnie outside of the blocked exit. She heard the Fugitoid as well, attempting to find some way to break in to the room. "Don't worry about them. They can't save you. Everyone close to that freak you call a friend is going to die anyway," Leo said casually, not even seeming to care. "Something's infected you Leo! This isn't you," April said. Leo ignored what she just said and aimed the blade at her chest. "It's over, playgirl," Leo growled. Knowing she had to defend herself, April closed her eyes and held out her crystal the Aeons had given her. Leo found himself in the air, being lifted up all the way to the ceiling, and then found himself plummeting back down. April's eyes widened, going pure white, similar to Tessa's. Leo had gotten up from the fall, his body sore. His shell absorbed most of the impact. Leo took out both of his katanas, and was now charging full speed toward April. Her eyes widened even more as a wave of energy was sent flying toward Leo, which pushed him into the far wall. She noticed Leo rub his head, before he got back to his feet. Surprisingly, he hasn't given up yet, despite knowing how powerful April can be, especially with the help of the crystal and the Professor's training. Leo jumped, doing a flip and jabbing April in the back with the handle of the sword. This caught her by surprise, sending her to her knees. She soon found herself in an extremely vulnerable position, with one of Leo's swords poking her back. The white in her eyes had faded, revealing her normal eyes. They were wide in fear as she was scared of what was about to happen next. She was prepared for a wave of pain, and possibly death, which at this point, was highly likely. Leo was only distracted when there was an explosion at the entrance, revealing Donnie and the Professor standing there, spotting Leo and April. "Let her go!" Donnie yelled, glaring at Leo with a death stare. Leo just chuckled, flipping one of his katanas in the air, making it land extremely close to April's head. April gasped, and glanced up at her 2 friends standing in the doorway to the infirmary. Donnie drew his staff, charging at Leo, who was forced to let April go to defend himself from Donatello's incoming attack, which he successfully blocked. The Professor was more hesitant, seeming to stand in the doorway for a couple more seconds before rushing over to aid April. "Why are you doing this Leo?" Donatello asked his crazed brother. "Getting revenge after what she did to Raph," Leo replied, pointing to the motionless, but alive body on the table. "This isn't the right way. You know that. Your my brother too!" Donnie said, glancing over at April and the Professor before once again focusing on Leo. Leonardo remained silent as he continued to attack his brother with full force and desperation. It seemed like he was desperate to kill. The Professor pulled April up, both of them fleeing to the safety of the doorway. They watched the battle between the two brothers rage. It seemed like it lasted for hours. "You know nothing about me!" Leo finally said, looking at Donnie with hatred and desperation in his eyes. "I know a lot about you, Leo. We're brothers," Donnie replied, sounding surprisingly calm for being in such a violent fight. Donnie jabbed Leo with his stick, sending him onto the ground. He also grabbed Leo's katanas, throwing them far out of reach. Leo growled as he watched his brother, his eyes following Donnie's every movement. Donnie noticed a chip-like object in Leo's neck, signaling the Professor to come over. Fugitoid knelt down next to Donnie and inspected the chip. "I believe this to be the source of Leonardo's problems," the Professor said as he glanced at Donnie, who only gave a slight nod in response. "I apologize, Leonardo," Honeycutt said apologetically before he placed a robotic hand on the side of Leo's head. His robotic hand glowed an orange color before Leo lost consciousness. Donnie followed the Professor to another infirmary room, April tagging along. The Fugitoid laid Leo down on the table, turning to April. "April, would you mind assisting me?" The Professor asked. April nodded before walking to stand beside the Professor. She closed her eyes, holding out her crystal. Donnie and the Professor watched in astonishment as the chip began to gently slide out of Leo's neck, little blood dripping down it. Once it was safely out of Leonardo's neck, the Professor took it somewhere before he returned a couple minutes later. "Nice job, April!" Donnie said, smiling. "Thanks, Donnie," April replied with a grin. Once the Professor returned, Leo begun to regain consciousness. Everyone was looking at him worriedly, which the oldest turtle noticed. The Professor had already patched up the small wound left on Leo's neck from the small device. Leo groaned as he sat up, rubbing his head. "God..my head and my neck hurt..What happened?" He asked. At this, Donnie and April instantly hugged him. The confused turtle hugged back, confused on what had happened. "Someone managed to slip some chip into your neck, capable of controlling one's mind," Fugitoid explained. "How-When..? I don't remember anything after we crash landed on that strange planet with Tessa," Leo said. "That explains a lot," April said with her arms crossed. "I'm sorry if I hurt anyone.." Leo apologized. "I understand if I'm not wanted on this ship," he muttered. The Professor put a hand on Leo's shoulder. "Nonsense! It's not your fault. And you'll always be wanted on this ship," He said gently. Leo smiled, glancing around at everyone in the room. "Is everyone okay? Where's Raph and Casey?" Leo asked. Everyone instantly quieted, but Donnie was the first to speak up. "Well um, Raph uh, well. He's dead. So is Casey," Donnie said and watched as Leo's eyes widened, his pupils seeming to shake. "What?! How? What happened?" Leo asked as he glanced at Donnie for answers, but he soon looked at April when she spoke up. "Raph was apparently being controlled by the chip too, and made Tessa extremely upset. She lost control of her powers and killed him and Casey. Oh and also she's in the infirmary because you nearly killed her after you plummeted your sword through her stomach," April explained casually, sounding a little upset too. "Oh...Is she okay?" Leo asked, now looking at Fugitoid. "For now. There's no telling how long she'll be in a coma," the Professor replied, his eye screens saddening. April, Donnie, and the Professor all hugged Leo. "We're just glad we have you back, bro," Donnie said, a grin replacing his former frown.
