I began to open my eyes, when I did, I noticed the familiar interior of the Ulixes. I had gotten familiar with the ship over the last few days. I sat up and rubbed my head. What was that? I thought to myself. I never have pains in my head like that.
I glanced around, spotting April standing next to the Professor just behind the glass window a couple feet away. They seemed to notice me glancing at them, because soon April was hugging me, and the Professor walked over. "How are you feeling?" April asked as she let go of me. I hung my feet off the floating table. "A lot better actually. What happened?" I asked. "It appears the strain from the amount of magic you used caused you to pass out," Donnie said. I jumped, April did too. I turned my head to the entrance, seeing the familiar turtle with the purple mask walk in. "Yea, I think I got the pass out part pretty well," I muttered. "Oh, hello Donatello!" The professor chirped happily. "Hi, Professor," Donnie said as he stood beside April. "How are you two feeling? I'm..sorry about before..." I asked, muttering the last sentence. "I'm feeling a lot better," April said, glancing at Donnie. "Yea. Me too. I might be sore for a while but I don't mind, I've been beat up worse," Donnie said with a smirk. "It also appears your powers have stabilized as well," the Professor said. That was good news for me. I didn't have to worry about hurting anybody anymore. Unless it was obviously for a reason. "Have you seen Leo or Raph?" I asked, turning to Donnie and April, who solemnly shook their heads. "We haven't seen them since you turned the ship upside down," Donnie said. "That was pretty impressive," April said. "How did you guys know about me flipping the ship? I knocked you two out," I said. "Oh, we were told all about it," April said as she and Donnie glanced at the Professor, who turned his head to look at them as well. I took this time to also look at the Professor, seeing the circles light up his eye screens. "What?" Fugitoid asked. I sighed, chuckling slightly at the Professor's response. I didn't mind them telling though.
We all headed back into the bridge. I noticed how empty it seemed without the leader and the 'attitude' which I called Raph since he had the most attitude on the team. "Hey guys!" Mikey chirped as we entered the room. Casey was standing at the side, barely acknowledging our presence. He was busy tossing a so called 'hockey puck' in the air, one that could potentially explode when coming into contact with something with great speed. "Where are we heading now, Professor?" April asked. "To a nearby planet with an atmosphere quite like Earth's to refuel," the Professor replied. From what I saw on the map the Fugitoid pulled up, it would take another day to get there, but we had plenty of fuel to last the trip. I was excited to see another planet, it's become sort of like a 'hobby' to me, which is what normal humans call activities you enjoy doing. Mainly, I just stared out the window, watching as we passed some large asteroids. "Hey Tessa," I turned, seeing April walk up behind me. "Hi April!" I greeted. "Enjoying the view?" April asked. "Indeed. I've always wanted to see space. It's beautiful. Back on Thalia Natui we were only allowed to take a spaceship into space only when our planet was at risk of disaster, such as the unfortunate asteroid that struck," I said, glancing at April, who looked surprised. "I just never got to go to space because I never had a spaceship," April said as she chuckled. I laughed at that, knowing people probably didn't have their own spaceships on Earth. According to Donnie, we only had about an hour left until we arrived. I was chatting with April until we felt a slight bump. At first, no one thought nothing of it, until we were bumped again, this time with more force. My eyes went white as I managed to see whatever was outside the ship. I recognized the large ship with some sort of sail on it, my eyes returning to normal. Everyone in the bridge was looking at me for answers. "Space pirates! I can use my magic to give the ship an extra boost," I said. I saw the Professor nod. "THAT IS SO METAL!" Casey exclaimed. "Cool! Pirates in space!" Mikey said with a grin as he started acting like a pirate. "Not those kind of pirates, Mikey!" Donnie said. "These pirates are far more cruel, they board and steal ships using any force necessary," I said. Mikey seemed to shrink down in his seat. "Everyone, prepare for acceleration!" The Professor said as my eyes lit up a light, neon blue color. The Ulixes sped off quite quickly, surprising the space pirates. "Why are they after us?" April asked. "They like to steal anything of value," I explained. "The Ulixes' plasma shielding!" Donnie said. "The Ulixes' sheer size, weaponry, and shielding must be why they're after us!" April said. "I'll use my fusion core reactor to give us the speed we need," the Professor said. "I'll hold them off!" Donnie said as he ran, hopping into his station as he pressed some buttons. The cannons on the Ulixes fired at the decently smaller ships behind us. "Don't let them shoot the engines!" I said, starting to get a hang of the ship's structure, along with its strengths and weaknesses. "I may be able to get them away," I said. Donnie, April, Mikey, and Casey watched as my hands lit up. They noticed on the camera that the Fugitoid had pulled up that showed the ships, that a large, rocky object formed, and flew quickly toward the space pirates, colliding with the largest ship. Soon, the Ulixes blasted off, disappearing from the Space Pirates' sights. Everyone cheered. Unfortunately we were way off course, so it would take us 2 more days to reach the designated planet. Donatello had said that the Professor had added an extra room on board for me. Later that night, everyone had went to their assigned rooms. I walked into mine, glancing at the nightstand with an alarm clock that read the time. Despite being in space, and there was no 'morning' or 'night' there was time. It read 9:54 PM. I hopped into my bed, but not before I was interrupted by a voice that sounded way too familiar. It sounded like my mom. "Hello, Sweetie. Don't worry, I'll get you out of these creatures' grasp,"
